My daughters recently lost their Dad He left a will but he did not have any money at his death, so there was no money to have the will filed with Probate They did not know what to do So, I contracted Doug Martinson for help as he had helped me before regarding elder care and power of attorney matters He was more than glad to help He walked us through every aspect of the options we had One of the options was to let the house be foreclosed and notify the creditors that there were no assets in his estate, which is what we chose However, more questions arose as we worked through this, but with Doug always being only a phone call or email away we were able to get through it My phone calls and emails were always answered very promptlyDoug was very compassionate and competent He really cared about my daughters and me and this meant very much to us We had several small checks that we received that were made out to his estate and they (Angela Riley) prepared the small estate affidavit which allowed the checks to be paid out to my daughters, equally Without their help, they would have have been able to cash these checks Doug and Angela Riley were wonderful They were very professional and helped us with all our needs I highly recommend them They are the best law firm in Alabama I am so glad that we chose them
