Hi *** Very nice speaking with you yesterday, and thank you for taking the time to walk me through the Revdex.com complaint/response process
In reference to claim ID # ***: Our valued client has had a warranty related engine noise (defective intake camshaft) replaced at BMW of Manhattan as per the repair guidelines. The motorcycle was down for repairs for an extended period of time, due to a parts availability issue. At the time the client was offered compensation towards a trade-in Roughly six months later, the engine started making noise again and was verified by our service team This time the issue was the other (exhaust) camshaft. At the time of this writing, BMW of North America is in talks with the client and are close to a resolution Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if there is anything else you require Kind Regards, *** ***

On the oil consumption I agree and I have tested the car prior the car was running about a quart of oil every miles or once a monthWhich to me was acceptable under the vehicles consumption criteriaWhy is it that I develop a leak after a service visit with your service departmentI have since looked at the engine and did indeed find a leak but cannot locate itI had this car parked in a driveway for months without a drip of oilAfter my last oil change through your department I started to develop a drip of oilI am convinced that the vehicles refrigerant was drained even if by accidentCar was leak tested and found no leaks in systemThe ax was charged and has yet to have a issueWhy is it then that my aAC was returned half full of refrigerant when I used the AC the day before and it worked perfectI am not making things up here I don't want things for free this is just ridiculousI am not an it I work in this field as wellYour service rep admitted that day that they may have touched it during the routine cleaning by accidentI showed him the sunroof beforeHe admitted that it indeed was not opened during initial check in. I honestly have never complained about service but again I feel like your responding to my concerns without having complete knowledge of what went onI pride myself in offering the best service possible to my customers and in being percent honestI do not want to make a big deal but again I feel like the service I received there behind the counters was concerning especially for the BMW brand. thank you for taking the time to read this

Hello, This was the first time this vehicle was in our facilityWe performed a value service oil changeAt this point we do not know if the vehicle has an oil consumption issue or notThe vehicle must be serviced and tagged then ran for miles then checkedThe vehicle has low oil indicators that will let you know when you get down 1qt of oil so I don’t understand how the customer added so muchDid he check the oil level correctly? We have no history at all on this vehicle, so I cannot advise correctly. First issue is the ac charge- we do not touch the ac system at all during a basic value service oil changeIn order for BMW to inspect other system on a vehicle it must be stated by the customer.Second issue with the sunroof- we perform a courtesy car wash and vacuum the floorsWe do not wipe down or touch the interior.
