Change driver
I was on the 5.40am bus this morning and the driver got lost I was late for work. I know this particular driver he has no idea what time management is and acts careless. Please do not bring him to drive an early morning bus that carries people to work. He can drive in the evening. He claims he missed his exit but didn’t say anything until passengers started asking him. This is very u fair to us we pay too u h money for crappy service like this. Again he was the 540 bus driver today march 6. Thank you

Bus Schedules
I don't understand why there is no bus schedule between 6:30 am and 8:10am to NYC. Customers working in the city 10-6pm have no outlet. With the 8:10am getting stuck in traffic everyday it is extremely stressful. I hope a 7:30am at some point would be considered. I don’t understand what is the purpose of the 8:25am and the 8:30am back to back when ridership is low I was told, both schedules are leaving almost empty, yet there is a gap from 6:30am to 8:10am huge gap that need filling. Please Martz, make this a priority in your meetings. It amazes me how a few people get together in board meeting and make useless decisions that have a huge impact on our lives. Give us a 7:30am bus. I am hearing this every day from customers on my 8:10am bus line. We are so tired of running all the way to the office every day. HELP!

Face mask protocol not being enforced!!!
I was on the 8:30 pm bus this evening (11/23). A passenger decided to sit next to me - when clearly there were empty seats further in the back - but no arm - I paid for ONE seat. Problem was - his mask was on his dang chin! I asked him kindly to put his mask on ( this was after the auto-announcement) and, annoyed, he pulled it up under his chin! I could smell the stench of his breath - meaning I was breathing his freakin air... I tried calling Martz... no one picked up. Shortly after that, 3 women in 3 separate seats (one behind the other and the 3rd on the other side decided to have a NO MASK conversation. Not wanting any confrontation, I wrapped my face with my scarf! How the hell is this ok? MARTZ NEEDS TO STEP THE HECK UP AND MAKE SURE PASSENGERS ARE SAFE TO RIDE THE BUSES. THERE IS NO SOCIAL DISTANCING AS THE BUSES ARE GETTING MORE PACKED LATELY; MANDATORY FACE MASK RULE IS NOT ENFORCED AND THE EVER-GREEDY martz HAS CUT BACK ON THE FREQUENCY OF THE RUNS! SHAME ON. YOU!... A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IS NOT FARFETCHED...just keep up the awful treatment of the passengers and allow decent folks to get sick or worse... if there was an option for negative 5 *** that would have been my rating! GREED AND LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE WILL BE YOUR ULTIMATE DEMISE!

I'll give an example of my experience today:SUNDAY 7/30/ I arrived at the DELAWARE WATER GAP at 11:35am in order to catch the 12:55pm bus to NYC PORT AUTORITY BUS TERMINAL I was the 2nd person on line The 12:55pm bus never arrived because it was full! The next bus, the 2:20pm bus never arrived because IT WAS FULL! Apparently, they were able to find a driver, who arrived at the DWG at 2:45pm We pulled out for NYC at 3pm WE STILL LEFT PEOPLE BEHIND! I personally have to be at work at 3pm I didn't get to work until 5:30pm today I lost two and one half hour in wages in addition to having to explain to bosses once again, why I was late! There is no flexibility in the fact that one must leave their home 11am, to be first in line for a bus that's supposed to pick up at 12:55pm and STILL not be able to get a seat! Even if the bus did have a seat, that's still amounts to a HOUR commute! For $a year, I expect better! Regards, [redacted] ***

July 19, 2017Dear *** ***,Thank you for the opportunity to discuss the concernsMartz offers open tickets, allowing everyone to use the service on any date or scheduleThe upside, you have great flexibility to travel any date or timeThe downside, there will be times more people travel than
anticipated and loading is first come, first serveWe had proposed implementing a reservation system to manage capacities by date/schedule however Martz Commuters overwhelmingly opposedThe concern: Commuters need flexibility as their work schedules change too oftenHave many extra Drivers and coaches waiting for a possible overload may see like an easy solution, however these are both limited and costly resources that need to be managedFailure to do so will result in increased ticket prices.Martz has a contact page, *** *** is welcome to email anytime, for convenience I am providing the screenshot belowAny Department Director can be reached using this format; our Operations Team can be reached at *** *** ***.Best Regards, Lisa R. July 12, 2017Dear [redacted]Thank you for the opportunity to discuss the concerns. There are times when schedule cancellations may be necessary due to Driver emergency call offs and others needing long term time off for a variety of reasons from FMLA to personal leave with little or no notice....

We've been challenged in this area over the past 6 weeks and are actively recruiting and training more Drivers to rectify. This is an operational challenge that is being addressed as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.Best regards,Lisa R. Terminal Director

I am rejecting this response because: MARTZ buses NOW stop at WATER PARKS  and RESORTS  before arriving at the DELAWARE WATER GAP terminal. This did not use to be the case.  Routinely, there are 20 or more people, the great majority of us commuters, waiting to catch the 12:30pm (weekdays) or 12:55pm (weekends) buses.  Because of the added stops, passengers at the DELAWARE WATER GAP routinely get left behind.  A bus carries 50 people.  How can MARTZ pick up at: SCRANTON, WILKES BARRE, AQUATOPIA, GREAT WOLF LODGE, KALAHARI, MOUNT POCONO, & DELAWARE WATER GAP and expect to have ample seating! that averages out to 7.14 people per stop!   I'll give an example of my experience today:SUNDAY 7/30/17
I arrived at the DELAWARE WATER GAP at 11:35am in order to catch the 12:55pm bus to NYC PORT AUTORITY BUS TERMINAL.  I was the 2nd person on line.  The 12:55pm bus never arrived because it was full!
