[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: MARTZ buses NOW stop at WATER PARKS and RESORTS before arriving at the DELAWARE WATER GAP terminalThis did not use to be the case Routinely, there are or more people, the great majority of us commuters, waiting to catch the 12:30pm (weekdays) or 12:55pm (weekends) buses Because of the added stops, passengers at the DELAWARE WATER GAP routinely get left behind A bus carries people How can MARTZ pick up at: SCRANTON, WILKES BARRE, AQUATOPIA, GREAT WOLF LODGE, KALAHARI, MOUNT POCONO, & DELAWARE WATER GAP and expect to have ample seating! that averages out to people per stop! I'll give an example of my experience today:SUNDAY 7/30/ I arrived at the DELAWARE WATER GAP at 11:35am in order to catch the 12:55pm bus to NYC PORT AUTORITY BUS TERMINAL I was the 2nd person on line The 12:55pm bus never arrived because it was full! The next bus, the 2:20pm bus never arrived because IT WAS FULL! Apparently, they were able to find a driver, who arrived at the DWG at 2:45pm We pulled out for NYC at 3pm WE STILL LEFT PEOPLE BEHIND! I personally have to be at work at 3pm I didn't get to work until 5:30pm today I lost two and one half hour in wages in addition to having to explain to bosses once again, why I was late! There is no flexibility in the fact that one must leave their home 11am, to be first in line for a bus that's supposed to pick up at 12:55pm and STILL not be able to get a seat! Even if the bus did have a seat, that's still amounts to a HOUR commute! For $a year, I expect better! Regards, [redacted] ***

July 19, 2017Dear *** ***,Thank you for the opportunity to discuss the concernsMartz offers open tickets, allowing everyone to use the service on any date or scheduleThe upside, you have great flexibility to travel any date or timeThe downside, there will be times more people travel than
anticipated and loading is first come, first serveWe had proposed implementing a reservation system to manage capacities by date/schedule however Martz Commuters overwhelmingly opposedThe concern: Commuters need flexibility as their work schedules change too oftenHave many extra Drivers and coaches waiting for a possible overload may see like an easy solution, however these are both limited and costly resources that need to be managedFailure to do so will result in increased ticket prices.Martz has a contact page, *** *** is welcome to email anytime, for convenience I am providing the screenshot belowAny Department Director can be reached using this format; our Operations Team can be reached at *** *** ***.Best Regards, Lisa R. Terminal Director

July 12, 2017Dear [redacted]Thank you for the opportunity to discuss the concerns. There are times when schedule cancellations may be necessary due to Driver emergency call offs and others needing long term time off for a variety of reasons from FMLA to personal leave with little or no notice....
We've been challenged in this area over the past 6 weeks and are actively recruiting and training more Drivers to rectify. This is an operational challenge that is being addressed as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.Best regards,Lisa R. Terminal Director

I am rejecting this response because: MARTZ buses NOW stop at WATER PARKS and RESORTS before arriving at the DELAWARE WATER GAP terminal. This did not use to be the case. Routinely, there are 20 or more people, the great majority of us commuters, waiting to catch the 12:30pm (weekdays) or 12:55pm (weekends) buses. Because of the added stops, passengers at the DELAWARE WATER GAP routinely get left behind. A bus carries 50 people. How can MARTZ pick up at: SCRANTON, WILKES BARRE, AQUATOPIA, GREAT WOLF LODGE, KALAHARI, MOUNT POCONO, & DELAWARE WATER GAP and expect to have ample seating! that averages out to 7.14 people per stop! I'll give an example of my experience today:SUNDAY 7/30/17
I arrived at the DELAWARE WATER GAP at 11:35am in order to catch the 12:55pm bus to NYC PORT AUTORITY BUS TERMINAL. I was the 2nd person on line. The 12:55pm bus never arrived because it was full! Even if the bus did have a seat, that's still amounts to a 4 HOUR commute! For $7000 a year, I expect better!
