Hello,This vehicle was purchased under our "Red Light" policy We stated before the sale the every vehicle in our facility has been donated to charity, and not checked out by a mechanic However, we still have a hour warranty on the car, which this customer choose not proceed with.The problems announced on the car were extensive First we announced that the vehicle had over 232,miles We also announced that the vehicle has an electrical problem casued by a bad hybrid battery The purchase price of $reflects the condition, considering that Kelly Blue Book retail value for the car is $5,100.At Capital Auto Auction wants every customer to be happy At this point, we have sent the money spent on the car, to the associated charity So a refund is not possible at this point However, we would be more than happy to re-sell this vehicle on the customers behalfRegards,Capital Auto Auction

I am rejecting this response because: this is not correctUnder no circumstances was any announcement made during the auction notifying the consumers about the issue surrounding this vehicleAt no point would anyone (except) a car salesman or a mechanic would make such a purchase knowingly there is an electrical issueI am certain this information was NOT disclosedI am also aware another consumer (former coworker) can agree to this statement recognizing he was in attendance on the same day and timeHe purchased a (Toyota Corolla) 15-minutes before my purchaseAnd, he too can contest this statement is accurateThere was No information disclosed during the bidding process.As for indicating information has been disclosed about a 24-hrsreturn policyThis is also incorrectIf this is the case this information should be (disclosed) to the consumer during the purchasePlease do not indicate this information is listed on the wall - recognizing there are many people in society still unable to read and therefore this vital information should be (told) directly to them during the finalization payment processIt should also be documented in writing on the bill of sale or on the receiptBut more importantly (disclosed).If by chance this vehicle was donated, again, this information was not disclosedIf the money has been distributed - I am sure there are funds in an allocated account for matters such as thisThe agreement to attempt to (resale) the vehicle is not precise informationIn my complaint - I mentioned I contacted Capital Auction and (specified) I wanted to return the vehicle and was DeniedAccording to the customer service representative, I can only attempt to resale the vehicle under these terms:1- The vehicle (car title) MUST be in my name which means I will have to disburse additional funds to (Department of Motor Vehicles)- I will have to pay ($100.00) fee to re-register the car in the auction (additional funds) in which I do not have- Enlist the car in the auction line up on Friday before the day of the auctionI will (not be allowed) to arrive the day of the auction and not be registered- Auctioning Center will attempt to (sale) the vehicle, however, as a consumer I must disclose on the registering form the (issue) surrounding the vehicle (but) this pertinent information was not required by the Auction Center- If by chance, the vehicle sell for more than what I actually paid the Auction Center will (receive) 10% of my earningThis entire process is unjustifiable and unfair to meI AM ASKING TO BE FULLY REFUNDED OR PROVIDED WITH A (WORKING VEHICLE) SURROUNDING THE AMOUNT PAID WITH LESS MINOR ISSUES THAT CAN BE REPAIRED WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNTI NEED A VEHICLE
