Dear ***, I'm responding to you regarding a complaint that was made to the Revdex.com from you about Maruyama At Maruyama we strive to give the best service possible, and attack every complaint or concern he with honesty and integrity, and in this case your
complaint is no different I was however quite surprised after reading your letter to the Revdex.com, that you felt a complaint was necessary, I've made a point of talking to all the staff here at Maruyama US, requesting of them the conversation they had with you regarding your initial complaint, but to my surprise no one remembers having any conversation with you, I then asked if anybody had received an email from you, to which the answer was also "no", I requested our web team to check all correspondence on our general emails and again I apologize but we cannot find any trace of your original complaint, perhaps you can tell me who you spoke with when you called in to discuss this matter I spent a lot of time discussing with the warranty team and Maruyama US quality control department about the initial complaint regarding the user manual for your product, you are quite correct in your assessment of the procedure moving the choke lever from open to close, I have discussed with the manufacturing team in Japan to make sure that this "typo" is removed and corrected in the new edition of said user manual, I'm sorry if this is in some way hampered your ability to run the machine correctly *** I take it that the Elm Wood drive address in Louisiana, is your home address, if so I would like to send you some two-stroke oil and a new air filter for you to use, whilst this does not repay you for your time and effort in bringing this matter to our attention, I hope you will see this as an olive branch and that it will be received with the very best intentions Furthermore, below is my cell phone number, I'm available should you wish to contact me by phone, thank you again for your attention to detail, and being the loyal Maruyama customer

Yes, I accept the resolution. [redacted] was surprised that I felt it necessary to file a complaint, but I sent 3 emails to the company without a response before I did. He said they could find no emails from me on their servers, but he should consider this: should he really be surprised that an employee would make sure no copies exist when he finds out that the big boss is upset that emails were ignored?  (My emails to the company contained the exact same information as did my complaint.) [redacted]
