customer sounding board (i.e***!)Your letter reads; the complaint appears to fit within the scope of our processingWe have not, however, made a judgement regarding the validity of this complaintRather, our objective is to provide a means by which we can aid you and your customer in coming to a satisfactory understanding."Further, "you may respond to this complaint by agreeing to comply with your customer's request, by offering a settlement, or by presenting an explanation of your position in the matterYour response will be forwarded to the customer."Question: what does scope' mean? judgement' (as in innocent until proven guilty?) and, 'you're providing a MEANS to aid ME"? 'satisfactory understanding"? ‘agreeing to comply"? 'settlement"?Should I call my lawyer?Oh and enclosed in the envelope was the following: STANDARD BUSINESS QUESTIONNAIREReally?
