Review: I contacted this company in order to make a custom sized window for a window that had been broken in my living room. They instructed me to measure the window from glass to glass (width and length). I did so and brought my measurements in to look for the correct window in a book. We looked it up (the sales associate and I), and determined that I needed a window that was a CW4. When the window came, it was 4" too wide but the right length. The measurements I gave were re-measured and determined to be correct. The window they sent was not the same measurements. At this point I returned and they told me that I had signed a contact that they forced me to sign in order to order the window in the first place and that they would not order the correct size or refund my money. The sales associate is the person who looked up my dimensions in the book and chose the window that was to be ordered. They refuse to refund my $209.56 or send a new window.Desired Settlement: I would also be willing to take a correct sized window, but as winter is coming, I need this to be resolved soon.

Review: The homeowner and contractor visited the Marvic [redacted] showroom to order [redacted] Windows French doors and picture windows with stain glass inserts, providing a Marvic employee with a picture of the FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT SERIES WICHITA style art glass printed from the [redacted] Windows website. The employee mentioned there might be other glass color options but the homeowner confirmed desire was for the goldish orange and green pictured. No other options were discussed. Employee appeared to be entering information into a computer. A quote was subsequently emailed by a second Marvic employee to the contractor who forwarded it to the homeowner for payment directly to Marvic. The homeowner exchanged some communications with the Marvic employee related to door configuration and then confirmed the order and paid a deposit. No other art glass options were discussed. The full balance was charged when the doors and windows were delivered although the art glass was delayed. The second homeowner picked up the art glass from the second Marvic employee at the [redacted] showroom and upon opening the box at home, the product was found to have no color in the glass and to have bright brass colored lines. Both homeowners attempted to immediately return it to the showroom but the Marvic employee refused on the grounds that the confirmed order stated these options in the ordering codes (e.g., Color Palette B apparently means no color). Subsequent phone conversations have also involved the [redacted] showroom manager who also refuses to take responsibility for his employees error. It is unknown why the Marvic employees selected these incorrect options. The intention to have color in the glass was clearly discussed with the original employee. No possible line options were provided at all so standard stain glass grayish black lines were assumed. Neither homeowner nor contractor had any reference for the coded description listed in the order and trusted the verbal description had been properly coded by Marvic.Desired Settlement: Replace the incorrect art glass (no colored glass, brass colored lines) with the correct art glass (goldish orange and green colored glass, grayish black lines). It is the responsibility of the [redacted] dealer, Marvic Supply, to correctly enter orders. Having provided the coded order is not a sufficient excuse because no explanation of the options was provided. In addition to the Marvic [redacted] location, settlement could be provided by the parent MarvicSupply company or [redacted] Windows.

Review: I purchased my home in April 2012, prior to closing a home inspection was performed and it was discovered that Windows purchased from Marvic Supply had leaky seals. Marvic Supply was contacted about the issue and they ordered a new window Sash and came to the house to replace the faulty window at no charge. Unfortunately since then we have had several other windows that have the same problem. I went to Marvic Supply in late 2012 to address these issues with [redacted] who is the Manager of the business. He asked me to get the numbers off the side of the window and he would order the windows that were faulty. I did get the information to him. I waited and waited for [redacted] to get back with me however I never heard from him. I went back to the store to check on the windows and he said lets go back to the warehouse to see if they came in. We walked around the warehouse and we could not find any windows. Why, because he never ordered them. So now a few months had past by this time. He asked me again to go through the same exercise to get the information from the side of the window and he would make sure they were ordered. At this point I recall him passing the ball to another one of his employees who was unwilling to do his job and take care of a customer. So time past, and I called [redacted] to see where and when the window would be in. [redacted] had no answer, he just wanted to give me more things to do and basically brush me off one more time. Over the recent months I have contacted [redacted] several times to help me get my windows replaced under warranty and he has done absolutely nothing to get this issue resolved. I have sent several emails with the tag numbers he has requested to no avail. Today [redacted] sent me an email that said he cant help me as he has been informed that I need to contact the manufacturer myself, or he could send someone out to get the information from the windows at a charge to me. Amazingly enough last year [redacted] was able to order the faulty windows and send someone to install them for us at no charge, now [redacted] wants to change his policy it seems. At this point we have at least 4 Windows that have leaking seals and [redacted] refuses to take care of this issue and is putting it back on me to do his job. [redacted] has been rude, and unwilling to take care of this issue. His emails all come in capital letters as if he is yelling at me about his companies poor quality products they sell as if its my fault.Desired Settlement: Order the windows that are under warranty. I have provided the information [redacted] has asked for several times.
