and 3) gave your landlord a mailing address where the security deposit could be sent. If you have done these things, your landlord has 30 days from the day you vacate the property to either return your deposit or give you a written itemization of deductions from your security deposit and refund the remainder of the security deposit to you.This information is per the Ohio State Bar Association.  We always abide by this.  We may have 15-30 units vacate per month.  In the cycle of walking and preparing a move out inspection, taking pics, returning this info to the person who writes the summary of accounts then forwarding to our accounts payable department to produce a check...we really do utilize a large portion of that 30 day period to finalize a resident's account.  This resident was impatient and didn't fully understand the cycle and process.  My staff would not be equipped with Ohio Revised Code to quote to this individual as I do not know it off the top of my head.  I don't feel this is an instance where I need to employ our attorney to give us formal code to reference.  We will do our best to expedite [redacted] request for deposit return.Best Regards,Kim D[redacted]F & W Properties
