Review: Signed a contract with them in regards to bailing a love one out of jail. Obligations on my end was fulfilled. Case successfully ended in February. A certificate of disposition and their receipts were presented to them on February **, 2015 as they requested. A refund of $900 was supposed to be returned after a minimum of 90 days. They refuse to return my numerous calls and to this date I haven't received my refund.Desired Settlement: My refund according to our agreed contract.

Review: I Maria signed a contract for Jason Booker using Marvin Morgan Bail Bonds, paying them 3500 dollars. The case was ended on March ** 20015. A disposition was given to the bail bonds on June 2015. I have been calling for three weeks now past the 90 days the receipt states how long it takes to receive my refund. I also spoke to a supervisor by the name of Jay figueroa on 9/**/2015 stating there is no check in this main office. I am filing a civil lawsuit against Marvin Morgan Bails Bond. Please contact me through my email as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund returned to me in a timely fashion.

Review: I posted bail for a friend on January ** 2014. His case was dismissed on April [redacted] 2014. Brought the disposition too their office as told and waited 90 business days for my refund too be returned. The owner who goes by "[redacted]" called me and said too come pick up my check today after 7pm. When I get there the amount wasn't correct he took ninety five percent of my money and gave me back 40 dollars from my one thousand dollars I put up too get my friend out of prison. In the contract I sighted it clearly states that all monies will be returned too me deducting one hundred dollars out for processing fees.Desired Settlement: My hard earned money returned back too me as promised and stated in the contract.

Review: The disposition letter provided to bail agency on June **, 2014. The agreement states, return of bail after 90 days not including any holidays & weekends. On the 95th day call to inquiry about collateral, was told [redacted] is whom we need to speak with, took our name & number. After a few days later, called the Manhattan office again, which we eventually spoken with a [redacted] whom gave us any contact #[redacted]or [redacted], whom only works 1 day per week. At that time spoken with a [redacted] & [redacted] was advised that they had no information on the defendant.

We have contacted the Manhattan office #[redacted], Bronx office #[redacted], and the Brooklyn office #[redacted], but have been unsuccessful. They just take our name & number and advised that they will give the message to [redacted], but we never receive a callback.

The week of Christmas, received an call from [redacted] that he will calling me back this week in order to pick up the check. But nothing....no call, no refund....

The Manhattan office ([redacted]) & Bronx office ([redacted]) representatives were very rude and unprofessional.Desired Settlement: My outcome is to have my full collateral returned to me, in the amount of $1,760.00.

Review: My spouse was arrested in February. I bailed him out with this company then, and in August 2013 when the case was concluded I filed for my bail return funds. I was supposed to receive my monies within 60 days, as of today June ** 2014 I have yet to receive my bail return funds in the amount of [redacted] dollars and the company has no real explanation or time frame as to when I will have my money returned.Desired Settlement: I would like my check 0f [redacted] sent to me as soon as possible.

Review: As of January ** the bail in which was "posted" had been exonerated so I then filed for a refund with Marvin's Bail Bonds. After 6 months, in which the contract states 90 days, I still have not received my refund. I called the office everyday for a week and got no answer and was unable to speak with anyone about my refund. After another week the agent contacted me and said they do not handle the refunds, but they did accept my money for the bail. He gave me a Pennsylvania number to call about my refund. I have been calling this place for two weeks and there is no one available to speak to about my refund. This is bad business and fraudulent to take money from helpless people and then run when it is time to refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund or the collateral along with the closing of this business.

Review: I posted bail for a friend of mine with Marvin's Bail bond with the intent to receive my money back when the person in need of the bail was incarcerated. It has now going on 2 years and I have yet to receive my money back. I made numerous attempts to collect the money and Jay (bail-bondsman) continues to state that he will call me back with in a time-frame of 2 weeks he also implies that the individual that I posted bail for was re arrested which is not facts. This business not honest and is giving me a hard time in receiving what is legal mine.Desired Settlement: I would like Marvin's Bail bonds to refund(give back) the money I posted for bail as soon as possible

Review: On March *,2014 I put up $5,880 for a defendant to be bailed out at the Bronx location. On March [redacted] 2014 Defendant was remanded for a parole violation. On March [redacted] I called bails bond and verbally request a refund. I made several calls and no response I finally went in on Friday March [redacted] and left a hand written note requesting a refund for monies. Several more calls where made over the weekend and Monday for a refund. No response.on Tuesday I contacted [redacted] who address was on my receipt and spoke w/ [redacted]. [redacted] put me in touch with someone else from Connecticut. Bottom line I just found out through the court that bail was given a week later. March [redacted]. After I requested a refund and after the defendant was remanded. The bail bond was hired to bail defendant out in 72 hours it didn't happen. To date company is refusing to return full monies. Company knowing proceed to post bail when was informed defendant was remanded in order to keep a percentage of the monies.Desired Settlement: I want the full amount refund of $5,880

Review: On July ** 2015 I went to a bails bond agency called Marvin Morgan Bail Bond Agency located at [redacted] and filled out forms to have my son bailed out from [redacted]. I paid $500.00 for his release they told me that it would take 2 to 3 business day for my son's release since they had to go to Westchester County Court to have forms signed by judge and that someone will call me when process was ready, but if I didn't receive a call by 7pm to call them back for status. On Tuesday July ** 2015 I received a call from agency 10:42pm telling me that my that my son was going to be released on Wednesday July [redacted] and someone will give me another call, but I didn't get a call so I called the agency back to get the status and they were not able to give me any information. I was told that I needed to speak to Supervisor and when asked for his name they refused to furnish that information. They told me that they will have supervisor call me back, but nothing. I've been given the run around with no answer in site. My lawyer also called bail facility and was able to get supervisor name Jay and told me to call again the following day. I did but still couldn't get thru to Supervisor nor the staff didn't give me any information regarding my son's case. I went to the office on Friday July **, 2015 to speak with someone but they were not able to help me and was told that I had to wait until Monday August [redacted] to see if supervisor will call me back. Called again on Monday and expressed to them that I wanted to get my $500.00 so that I could go to another agency and they told me I have to wait until 7pm on Tuesday August [redacted] because refund was coming from Corporate not directly from them. They also mentioned that they were going to keep $100.00 for there services, but what services have they provide to me?? all I know I paid they took me for a ride and my son is still sitting in jail.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund of $500.00.

Review: Good Morning, I am complaining about Marvins Bail Bond company because on 11/**/2015 I went to their office to gather information about how do I go about bailing an inmate from jail.. Donna one of the workers there told me is easy just give us 3,000.00, and 1 person with pay stubs and proof of address should signed.. I said fine I [redacted] will signed and I will give the company my pay stubs and proof of address. On 11/**/201 I went back to the place and I gave them the 3,000.00 my pay stubs and my proof of address.. The company gave me 3 receipt of the money I paid them..But they did not give me the copies of the contract...They said the inmate will be release in about 72 hours. I said Wonderful....So om 11/**/2015 I called to verify the status and they told me the bonds man could not talk because he was in court solving this bail...The females in the office told me someone will call me. They never called me so I called back and Joanne answer the phone and said Hi [redacted]? I said NO what happen whats the status Joanne reply back with the Judge is asking for 1,200.00 More. I said why ? she said she dont know..So Itold her find out for me and call me back..Joanne never called me back so I decide to call her back she answer and said she dont know again..So I called the Manhattan Clerk office to verify is the bond was posted, the clerk responded back to me and said no.. they have not posted the bail bond which means they did not see No Judge yet..I called the office back and and Donna answer and said she dont know I have to speak to the Bondsman but they are never in the office..I explained to Donna that I want my refund because the company lie and told me that the bail was posted and today is 11/**/2015 and the bail bond is still not osted so I want my refund. The inmate is still in jail.and the bondsman has not done anything yet..Desired Settlement: The busissness should either get this inmateout of jail how they promised me with the 3,000.00 or give me my 3,000.00 dollars back so that I CAN TAKE MY BUSISNESS ELSEWHERE .

If you looking to bail out a loved one please do not waste your time with marvin’s bails bond this is the worst experiences i’ve had,3 months after having paid these people, they still havent posted the bond for my nephew, everytime I called to get an update they give me the run around.Save yourself the added stress and aggravations ist’s not worth it ,you pay these people money and when you call they got an attitude like you owe them money, their customer service and follow up is non existent, you will be calling for weeks with no answer. Can you believe that after 3 months the still haven’t posted the bail, you know this company is a scam when even lawyers recommend that you don’t use Marvin’s bails bond. Now we decided to get a refund since they failed to post the bond after receiving payments, numerous phonecalls and once again they giving us the run around to get our money back, talking about they can’t locate the file. All you have to do is check their reviews on google, yelp and the ripoff reports to figure out that this company is a scam.Once again if you value your time,if you value respect and good customer service DO NOT USE MARVIN’S BAILS BOND you will regret it.

Review: We made an agreement with them to provide a bail service for my daughter and we were guaranteed that the service would be completed by the next day 7pm. It has been over 72 hours and we have not received a phone call, an update, a text or even an email on the service that was promised. We have called numerous times to no AVAIL. Every time we call and speak with a customer service rep we are told that we will get a call back soon. It's been 3 days and we have not received not one call yet. This morning we called again, and spoke with [redacted] who was screaming and ranting, rude and disrespectful indicating that he wasn't aware on my daughters case but he was going to try to get in contact with someone. When we told [redacted] that we have already been promised that someone would call us back, he stated that he doesn't know anything about the issues and he cannot promise anything, but that he would try to contact someone.Desired Settlement: For them to complete and honor the contract and my daughter be released asap.

At first you think these people are great because they work with the amount of money you have but then they keep making excuses on why they can't do it, saying they need more signatures or want more money and takes forever for them to bail them out. My personal experience, my husband reported every week. However he got rearrested on a parole violation, I let them know as soon as it happened and I asked them will they revoke the bail and they said no because I informed them ASAP, just as the contract stated. Now 6 months later, they revoked my husbands bail for NO REASON, just to get more money hoping I would go back to them and use them again. They are TERRIBLE PEOPLE DO NOT USE THEM!!

Review: I put up $540.00 to bail out a friend. The case was over in June of 2013. I have submitted the case deposition on two occasions and received no response as to the return of my bail money. I have made repeated calls to the bail bondsman office to be told repeatedly that their waiting to hear from the insurance company that handles the return of my bail money. It's been 10 months.Desired Settlement: There has been any settlement as of yet
