was given a copy of our proposed plan. We have the original of such plan in our offices. During the visit, we discussed the charge for each service. We have a copy of the discussed charges in our file.
Photographs were taken of the patient, used during the consultation and are digitally stored in our office.
The patient was charged our standard $225. fee for consultation and reminded that this would be applied to her future services.
Apparently some time later, the patient called and asked for detailed pricing. It was explained that we did not know ultimately which procedures she had decided upon. My secretary said she would send the general pricing charges we had discussed. Unfortunately, the office forgot to send such a list. When the patient called again, the office manager apologized profusely and said she would immediately mail them out. However, the patient said "she wasn't showing remorse for her failure to send them and wanted a refund".
Ms. [redacted] was in actual consultation for over 45 minutes. Our consultation fee was fair. It was to have been applied to services and then consultation would have essentially been free.
It is necessary in this type of business to have a consistent billing policy. My staff and I devote complete attention to every patient that comes in for consultation and give each of them as much time as necessary to make them aware of their problems and how we would correct them. We are more than happy to apply their consultation fee to our services because we want all of our patients to understand why we do what we do. We know they can then totally appreciate their treatments. Our patients become long term patients.
I am a very ethical physician who appreciates fully informed patients. I am not here, however, to educate market shoppers for free.

The response is false, I never received a "plan for tretment" I asked for it when I was leaving the offic,and I was told that details will be emailed to me. Theat never happened. I called multiple times and to this day I have not recived the plan.
