Took down a very challenging tree close to my house with no problemThey cleaned up and took all the wood, looks like a new yard

Have used this tree service two different times with great results They do the job very efficiently and clean up the area afterwards I highly recommend them

We bought our house in Washington Township in the winter (no leaves) not because of the house but because of what we thought was a spectacular wooded lot Well, spring arrived and all we saw was honeysuckle and a bunch of dead trees After we cleared some of the honeysuckle we could see that many of the trees were dead ash and many of the others weren't healthy We got several quotes to remove very large ash trees that were dangerously close to the house F & F was competitive on price but we went with them because I liked their equipment and the fact that they would remove the wood after they cut the trees; one of the other quotes didn't want to take the wood and another was about 20% higher in cost (they were completely eliminated when they said they'd price match other quotes) Daniel and his crew did a fantastic job with this first batch We looked at what was left and flagged about more big trees, mostly ash, and probably smaller (up to about 12" diameter) trees We had only F & F quote this second job The quote was more than I wanted to spend but it was a big job and needed done The scope wasn't defined as well as I'd like due to the sheer number of trees and the complexities of trees that had partially fallen and gotten snagged, others leaning over an outbuilding, the fact that we live on a one lane road with challenging access, etc But Daniel said he'd take care of us Well, he definitely took care of us There were about guys working on the job (all of them working, all at the same time) and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome Everybody on the crew was polite and respectful They were careful to not damage the trees that we wanted saved and left a few ~30' tall trunks for wildlife trees They cleaned up meticulously If I would have tried harder to define the scope of the job, it would have been much less than what was actually done They far exceeded our expectations Now that they're done it looks like we may actually have that spectacular wooded lot that we thought we had One suggestion - if you have big trees to remove like we did (many were 20"+ in diameter and 70-feet tall) you may want to sell tickets to watch them work

We've had Daniel and his crew out to our house about times over the past few years to clear out dead ash trees and other 'leaners' Daniel is very quick to come out for a quote, usually in the evening, and the quotes have always been reasonable
Sometimes it takes a week or two to get the work done, depending on the weather, but the last time he came out, we had a tulip tree leaning toward the house after a storm I called him at 5pm, he was out looking at the tree at 6pm, and they had the tree (and some more dead ones) taken out the very next day
They always do a great job raking the yard after they're finished, and when we've had them grind stumps, they grind them well below the surface For a small up-charge, they will cut the trunk to firewood length and stack them for me to split later
One of the first times Daniel came over for a quote, we had a huge sycamore leaning way out over the house Daniel looked at it, recognized that it was a little more complicated a situation than he was comfortable with, and recommended another local company (who did the job well and for a decent price) This spoke volumes to me about the quality of the job and the dedication to safety
Sorry if this seems gushing, but after good experiences with or trees, I felt I should do more than just pay the guy and pass out his business cards to my neighbors

We checked 4 different tree trim services in Dayton area, prices ranged from $4k to 8K for removal of 6-8, 12-30" diameter, XX-XXX foot high, Ash trees leaning towards our house, that succumbed to emerald ash borer this past summer.

[redacted] was the lowest bid. We normally throw out the lowest bid if substantially lower than the rest, as in this case. After investigating all 4 services, we decided F&F should be a reliable service and hired them.

[redacted], owner, has instilled in his workers his same ethics and morals he has - it was truly spirit raising and wonderful to have him on our property! He not only took out these trees, but also took out 4-5 MORE smaller (8-12" dia x 50-100ft tall) that also needed removal for no addition cost. As he said, while he is here with this equipment, you would take out these other trees while he was at it. Absolutely wonderful man who has built a wonderful business we highly recommend.

Daniel and his crew took down two large pine trees and did an exceptional job.

Took down a very challenging tree close to my house with no problem. They cleaned up and took all the wood, looks like a new yard.
