I have spent the last two years dealing with this dental office. There was not one visit where I didn't have to wait at least 45 minutes after my supposed scheduled appointment time. I was repeatedly treated in a rushed manor after the long wait to be seen. After every procedure (fill-in, tooth extraction, and implant) I was left unsatisfied. Not to mention I still suffered from tooth sensitivity, infection risk, and above an implant that fell out after less than 24 hours of its placement. You might ask yourself why I stayed. I took out two loans for a total of eight thousand dollars for this supposed professional work. This business has done nothing but take my money, eased my time, and worsened my condition. I know for a fact that I am not the only client they have taken advantage of and they need to be held accountable.

Review: On July 25th I agreed to undergo dental treatment with Maryland Dental Center for a total costs of $8.215.00 and applied through the dental office for a credit account with [redacted] Financial LLC for the amount of $5.340.00 and intended to used my existing credit account with [redacted] to pay for the balance of $2.875.00 once treatment started, but once I got home and looked at my work schedule for the following 3-5 months and decided it would be impossible for me to undergo such treatment at this time. So, I called the dental office manager Ms. Sheylis M[redacted] to let her know that I wouldn't be able to commit to the treatment at this time and therefore asked her to cancel all of the credit requests for such treatment and since she was unavailable I left her a message to cancel my credit request and treatment, next day I tried calling her again and left her another message and so forth. So after 5 days of not receiving an answer I decided to take time off work and on August 5, 2014 I showed up at the office to make sure all credit requests were cancelled, she had me sign a Release /Refund form for the amount of $1,275.00 to submit to my existing [redacted] account and failed to have me sign one for the larger amount on the [redacted] account for $5,340.00 (statement she made to me on my visit of October 21, 2014). But on my visit of August 5, 2014 , I was under the impression that since she didn't have me sign a Release / Refund form for this account it had already been cancelled since it was a new line of credit which she requested. Much to my surprise a few weeks later I got a bill from [redacted] for $5,340.00 so I picked up the phone and called her and she told me that she would be glad to take care of the situation right away. And again after calling many, many times and waiting for this ordeal to be taken care of and due to my busy work schedule weeks and almost 3 months went by until on October 21st I received a called from the Springstone collections department letting me know that the dental office had not taken care of anything and therefore I was being charged 2 late fees of $25.00 and it would be a matter of days before it would be reported to the Credit Bureau if a payment was not received right away. So again, I had to take time off my busy work schedule and make a trip to the dental office which I had called at around 9:45 a.m. before arrival to make sure Ms. M[redacted] was there and I wouldn't have to loose my trip from the Virginia area and waste my valuable time, and the receptionists told me that she would be in later that morning and to leave her a message, so I announced my arrival to take a care of my account. And once Ms. M[redacted] and I got on a conference call requested by me with Springstone the representative confirmed that this was the first time Ms. M[redacted] had contacted them to request my refund. Therefore, I hold this entity responsible for all of my time lost in this horrific ordeal with my line of credit and valuable work time and even though they are charging me the amount of $1,575.00 for services they say they rendered I don't trust their creiability and proffesionalism and I would like to have a full refund on my line of credit with [redacted] / [redacted] Bank for the amount of $1,575.00 and any other charges due to their mishandling issues and request for this entity to be placed under investigation for misrepresentation.Desired Settlement: A full refund to my existing [redacted] / [redacted] Bank account and an investigation for misrepresentation. Please contact me or my wife [redacted] at [redacted] for written evidence of these accounts and further information on this entity. This is a matter which really needs your attention.

Review: My mother in law had an appointment on 8/2/2014 and she redirected the worst customer service I have ever heard of from a dental practice. Her appointment for a cleaning was at 11 and she wasn't received for 45 mins. After dealing with a surly hygienist whom belittled the condition of her teeth she waited for her cleaning for another hour. Eventually she went to the crass receptionist and explained that she could not wait any more, waiting 2 hours for a cleaning is ridiculous. Their response was, "okay, you can go". No apology, no explanation, no reassurance freaking nothing, just, "okay, you can go". This was inexcusably surly , crass, and unprofessional.Desired Settlement: An apology and a change in their business practice.

Review: Maryland Dental Center provided me with a service on 1-29-14, the work was completed on August 2014 which they charged me and paid $1170.00. The insurance carrier sent me an Explanation of Benefits (see attached), which states:

TOTAL CHARGES: $2280.00

Allowed amount: $875.00

less deductible: $50.00

Less total patient coinsurance $412.50

TOTAL PATIENT RESPONSIBILITY $462.50

It is evident that they made a mistake of charging me $1170.00, the correct amount should have been $462.50.

On October 24, 2014 my office sent Maryland Dental Center an email explaining the case. They have not acknowledged receipt nor they have provided a resolution to this matterDesired Settlement: Maryland Dental Center has to refund me the difference of $1170.00 from the patient responsibility $462.50, the refund amount should be $707.50
