They failed to install scrim when they waterproofer 6 months ago. Installed it a week ago and removed ledgerboard and framing from front wall of house
Approx 10 years ago, we had mold in our basement. They came out and installed a sump pump and scrim on the wall. In November 2019, we found more mold in the basement. Called them back to repair it. They ripped out drywall and did a repair but failed to put up scrim on the wall. 6 months later we were still dealing with water coming in (after paying $1500 to replace the drywall they ripped out). They came out again in June 2020, ripped out the brand new drywall, several pieces of framing, subfloor, and ledgerboard along the front of my house. I've been told in multiple phone calls that Steve will be calling me to rectify the situation, but have not heard from him and it's been a week. We got advice from a general contractor who was horrified at the fact they Md Waterproofing left our house this way, saying that it's unsafe and there is no structural support on the front wall of my house. They are not reaching out to us to resolve the issue and clearly do not care about the safety of our home.

Desired Outcome

We would like to be reimbursed for the cost of drywall repair that was done prior to their June 2020 visit ($1500).

While I am disappointed and frustrated that they left our home in an unsafe state, I accept this resolution.

In lifetime warranty for basement. Waterproof.Water and mold starting again. Called the company to complain. We are still waiting for results.
In 2013 I paid $10,000 to have work done because in basement. The company did the work. Two months ago I discovered mold and water coming trough the basement walls. I called 1-800-773-8373 and spoke to Frank. I was told he was the person in charged for complains and warranties. He send a worker on November 28. The person confirmed that water and mold was found. he informed that.they have to drill some holes to let water go though the French drain installed by them. He also told us that he had to put something on the walls to remove mildew. He also told me that I needed to move furniture. I told him that my husband is a 71 years old mand, and I am a 56 year old woman with several handicaps. He said he was going to request extra worker to help him out when he returned. On December 19 he came back by himself we ended up moving things around. He showed up with a gallon of paint. He insisted that that was going to take care of mold. I immediately calle Frank to complain about the way mold was been treated. Bottom line is he drilled two holes and not even finished painted. Now I have cracks on my wall, mold is still coming thought the new painting. I am still waiting to heR back from Frank. He promised me that he was going to call me back to fix the problem. This work was financed by them

Desired Outcome

I want for the company to repair the original and new problems the water had caused my basement. Cracks on the walls caused by the water collection on cinder blocks. Base bord replaced, mol removal, paint the entire wall damaged by mold.

We are currently working with the consumer to resolve this issue.

Basement was waterproofed May of 2014. It has started to take on water again in the summers for the past 2 years. It is like pulling teeth to get anyone to return my calls and once they do come out they leave you with a trench, a section of PVC piping laying on your basement floor filled with clay dirt and "we'll call you sometime to schedule". Yea, so much for the warranty. I would have rather had the water in my basement that we did at the beginning than be out the 6 grand and have dirt and mud everywhere. THIS COMPANY WILL LIE TO YOU!!
