February 1, To Whom It May Concern.The Customer, [redacted] , purchased the vehicle from us and we never heard anything from herUntil she calls asking about a refund or trading it for something else, because it stopped shifting and she has it at a garage and it needs a whole new transmission, I told her that I doubt that because prior to her purchase there was a low mileage used transmission installed-I told her to get it to me and I will look at it free- of chargeShe said that it was not drive able and that I would have to tow it, I informed her that towing it would be her full responsibility, so she had it towed to me Upon inspection we found a faulty transmission range selector, which was replaced with a used one FREE OF CHARGE We road tested it, found no further problems and customer was notified to pick up the vehicleAgain, there is NO CHARGE for any service provided & customer was told to pick up her car and NO charges were discussed or implied The Tribute sat here awhile, fixedFinally heard from her today @ FM, said she was corning to pick it upShe picked it up today @ PM-I am enclosing a copy of her receipt that she signed.John EJr

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I don't feel the response is creditable. The salvage yard referenced in this response is owned and operated by family members associated with Marysville motors. In addition, we have contacted numerous salvage yards within the state and ALL use a marking of some sort on their parts that are identifiable and no one takes pictures of their motors for inventory purposes. I find it extremely coincidental that they had photographs of the EXACT engine they installed in my car. After speaking to a technician at Marysville Motors, who was unaware of my current situation, it confirmed my suspicion that this is not common practice at Marysville Motors either. I feel passionate about this matter in the fact that how many other people were taken advantage of and didn't feel they had a voice to express their case.
