[redacted] received his car back last week. We are very sorry for the issue with the loaner however accidents happen and we tried to do the best to satisfy him with a Volvo replacement car. As far as laughing at him, I have no knowledge of that.

There is no issue to disclose about batteries. Maserati North America states that in order for a battery to be covered under the manufactures warranty, the car must have 4,000 rolling miles per year...

on it. This vehicle went into service on 12.**.12. It is now over 2 and a half years old. The battery was replaced on 12.**.13 with 4,480 miles on it so it qualified. Then the battery was recharged overnight on 10.*.14 with 6,979 miles on it only being driven a distance of 2499 miles in 10 months ( That will cause a battery to discharge ). The dealer at that time recommended a battery tender. Then the battery was again replaced on 10.**.15 at 9,580 miles on it only being driven a distance of 2601 miles one year. The battery was replaced at the good will of the dealer even though it did not qualify. This car is not a lemon it is simply under driven and the battery is not properly being taken care of when the car is not in use.

In response to [redacted]'s complaint: [redacted] stated that if he could not have a Maserati Loaner he would not want to come into the dealership. Maserati of Manhattan had three Maserati loaners at the time but they were scheduled out weeks in advance. We offered to have him visit the Jersey...

location as they have more availability in terms of scheduling. He was scheduled at Maserati of Bergen County with a Maserati loaner on 9/**/15. Upon his arrival an incident happened with the loaner preventing him from obtaining the Maserati loaner. We understand that this would be disappointing however it was beyond our control. We offered him a Volvo XC60 at which point [redacted] became Irate. This lead to a 20 to 25 minute cursing and yelling rant throughout the dealership. After a while an agreement was reached with the advisor at the Jersey location that once a Maserati loaner was available later that day it would immediately be towed directly to him and his car then picked up and towed back to the Jersey location. While filling out the paperwork necessary to facilitate this plan into action, in a lesser tone [redacted] questioned my advisor about his age and then asked him if he was "slow" inquiring as to weather the advisor was mentally challenged. The advisor told [redacted] that if he had nothing but disrespectful things to say the conversation can end, or he can kindly fill out the paperwork. [redacted] filled out the paperwork and later that day the loaner was brought to him and his car was picked up.
