***, In reference to your “warranty/walkthrough” items, I have attached the report that was sent to you by *** *** from the *** *** Home Warranty program on Jan 20/The report details the necessary steps required by us as a builder to fulfill our obligation as per the warranty
guidelinesIn order for us to be a part of the *** *** Home Warranty program we are required to follow their recommendations when an inspection has been completedIf you refer to page of the document it states that all of the items noted are either “not warrantable” or “no action required”Therefore we are under no obligation to proceed with repairs that are not considered warrantable as per the *** *** Home Warranty guidelines. As for the water coming from the ceiling fan, I have attached a scan of the warranty guidelines in reference to moisture leaking from exhaust fans for your reviewI also spoke with Mike G*** from *** *** *** on April 6/in regards to this issueHe has agreed as a goodwill gesture to run a new duct line to a soffit vent in order to aid with future condensation and humidity concernsHowever in order for him to run the new duct that would require upgrading the ceiling exhaust fan to a larger model in order to provide a larger hole in the ceiling to have adequate space to workAs this is not a defect with the fan the upgrade costs would be your responsibility. Just so there is no confusion, we are more than willing to repair any issues deemed warrantable by the *** *** Home Warranty programAs far as contact with Mason Martin, I will be the only point of contact for you going forward please email me with any questions or concerns

Currently we are working with the client to rectify the fireplace leak and [redacted] home warranty will be doing a site assessment of the issues to determine the course of action going forward.

I am rejecting this response because:Efforts have been made to rectify one of the problems, the most recent water leak through the fireplace chimney. The leak is fixed snd they say they will fix the damage caused by the leak.  But no rectifying the walk through service issues or other leak in the bathroom.  Only if enforced by [redacted] home warranty they will address.  I am glad to see the progress and rectifying the leak issue.
