It was on or about May 2, 2015, P [redacted] came into my mobile home sales office, located at Wagon Wheel RdOxnard Ca93036, and proceeded to tell me of the FIXER UPPER she had just purchased at Ojai Valley Estates, she came with a list of items that she wanted us to take care of for herI drove to Ojai and inspected the unit she purchased, and also had a licensed contractor goto Ojai to inspect and evaluate the scope of work and determine costsMsK [redacted] did have other contractors submitting bidsI wrote the contract up myself, acting as her agent as she was adamant that she would direct the work and oversee the whole projectMy fee to be her agent was only $But, as we proceeded with the remodel of her home, daily MsK [redacted] was making changes to the contract, and completely omitting some itemsMsK [redacted] is totally in a fog and has no comprehension as to the workings of construction and working on mobile homesIf she did, she wouldn't be coming in with revisions and changes to things that needed to be done, or had already been doneWe did our utmost to advise her, but her mind set was she was determined to control everything that went onThis can be done, but only on a hourly rate, and not when a job is bid flat rateBut when the costs of bids are held low, and the type of work requested is predetermined, and if MsK [redacted] wants addons or omissions, they need to be charged for, and signatures affixed in proper places, so that both sides have the same guidelinesFor some unknown reason she could not understand why it would cost moreAnd each time she made changes, it either stopped work or brought it to a snails paceI had asked her numerous times to come by the office so we could talk it over, and see what could be done with the daily changesShe REFUSED, and wanted to handle everything at the job siteIt would only take her a few minutes before she was screaming and yelling at us, calling us a bunch of crooks, using the mouth of a drunken sailor, using every foul word in the book, yes, especially the “F” wordAnd she could go off on you in the drop of a hatShe has now stopped work completely a total of three (3) timesThis last one, evidently a permanent stoppageI will reiterate, this lady has NO clue, is totally unaware, of any workings of the construction industryShend way should have tried to act as OwnerBuilderIt no way fits her personality, or lack of, her experience, or largely her emotional statusWe are still willing and ready to finish the work for MsK***I have been licensed and in the mobile home industry for yearsI feel I DO know the workings of the industry, and am ready to complete what I startedB [redacted] Owner and Licensed Contractor/Mason Mobile Home Serv
