My son is no longer attending Children's Corner at [redacted] ***His last day was June **, I was informed that the security deposit would be mailed back within four weeks of the last dayIt is now September **, and I have not received the depositI have called three times and left messages with no return callI have had email contact with one person and was assured that they were resolving the issue and apologized for the delayThere has been no contact as to the resolution of this matter after I was told that they "didn't forget about me and were working on it." Our account was always in good standing so I do not know why it is taking so long for our money to be returned

My son *** attended day care at the Water's Place location for three months between June 2017-August Upon enrollment I was asked to provide a refundable month security deposit I paid the deposit and removed my child in August at the end of the month so he could begin pre-K According to the parent handbook, the deposit would be refunded in - weeks from the child finishing daycare To date (Nov *) it has been weeks and I have not received my refund When I call the center the director MrsC*** is very elusive with a refund date, asks I call her in a week or two each time I call, she says that the company is backlogged giving refunds and that she submitted my refund but it has not processed yet The phone calls I have placed to the corporate office have not been returned

Our son was enrolled at Children's Corner Learning Center at the *** *** *** location until his class at the center was abruptly closed by the state in June Our child then transferred to the Stamford CCLC location which he was at for approximately weeks before we withdrew him as the center was not appropriate for our son (this center abruptly closed in Nov 2017)Our son's last date of attendance was August **Over days later we have yet to receive our deposit back despite numerous phone calls and emailsWe are consistently told that our deposit is "being processed" and that "a release date is not available yet."

My infant attended the daycare for about months I was told to make a security deposit

The owner of children’s corner Anthony R*** is very selfishHe doesn’t care about the families or the employersAs long as HE’S making money, nothing else mattersThese children have been eating the same food, playing with the same dirty toys for over yearsThe employers have limited supplies because he refuses to buy anything so the staff and the directors buy what they need for the childrenThe carpets and and floors have mold on them and he won’t pay to have them cleanedInstead of taking responsibility, he just blames the directors and gets rid of themThe directors and some of the employers are wonderful people, it’s such a shame he doesn’t care about themBecause of Anthony a lot of parents take their children outIt’s mind blowing that he has so many centers open when he does absolutely nothing to take care of themIt’s a disappointing business considering children are involved

My daughter *** *** (year old) joined the daycare in second week of August and she used the facility till the end of SeptemberShe was registered for full time, but she could use the facility only sparingly (2-days a week for a few hours each day)The facility would call us up asking to pick up the kid almost every day *** went thereShe has a severe allergy condition which irritates her skin and makes her crankyThe facility was not able to take care of her due to her medical conditionHer pediatrician and also her allergy specialist recommended that she be moved out of the daycare into a home daycare (with nanny)As soon as we cam

My child was cared for by Children's corner for well over a yearI was asked to give days notice in writing if we were ever to leave(This is their policy) under their online information they state it will take 6-8weeks to receive your deposit back (Again stated and understand) however I gave written notice that my child would no longer be attending Children's Corner after Februray **, I wrote this letter on January **, I gave them more than days notice in writing like their policy statesIt is now May **,weeks to the day after giving my notice and I have still not received my deposit backI know for a fact that I am not the only person who has had this problem Many people have had the same issuesI have reached out a few times regarding this issue and was told that they will contact corporate

My daughter attended this center for a little over a yearin June they were closed by the Department of healthI transferred my daughter to their sister day careHer classroom was closed by the Department of Health two weeks laterParents were notified at am without an explanationI have been trying to collect the security deposit and a refund for the month that was paid since MayI have emailed Loreinnie C***, Cynthia C***, I've called ###-###-#### and left a message and no one has gotten back to meAccording to the center, they do not have a direct number for the corporate offices

We disenrolled our son from Children's Corner at the end of June We have yet to receive our return deposit, despite numerous calls to the center and to the corporate officeThe center director is responsive, but this seems to be a corporate issueTheir policy states it should be returned 4-weeks after a child leaves the center

My year old daughter, *** ***, started at Children's Corner in the beginning of August for full time (days) careThey took month's fees ($1675) as the depositTheir policy requires a month's notice for cancellation
The daycare was unable to provide proper care to our childAlmost every day that we dropped our kid off at the daycare, we would get a call around noon to pick her up We were sending Prithika for only about 2-days per week as the daycare was unable to take proper care of herWe used the daycare from 8/**/through 9/**/
In end of September, Prithika was diagnosed with severe eczema and the doctor recommended that we take her out of the daycare immediately and have a nanny at homeWe arranged for a nanny and gave a notice to the daycare indicating that we will not be using their services any moreWe asked the daycare to refund our depositWe told them that the daycare is not able to provide the service that we are payin

My child was enrolled at Children's Corner from January On June *** the center was suddenly closed by the Department of Health and Mental HygieneThey were not able to provide a date when they would re-openI was told that I would be refunded for my deposit as well as the remaining time for the monthI have been in contact with the centers Director who says she will contact corporate and they will send a refundIts now been over months and she is no longer responding to my emails or calls

We felt Children's Corner was a great place for our child when we first enrolled, however for the past few months we noticed an excessive amount of turnover, overwhelming evidence of unhygienic conditions and an influx of unqualified staffWe also noticed the staff becoming physically aggressive and verbally abusive towards the childrenWhen we requested a meeting to discuss our concerns, we were denied and put off for monthsNeedless to say our child is no longer enrolled here, however we are still concerned for the safety and wellbeing of the children attending this institution
