The way that the subscription/contract system is designed for Massage Envy is anti-consumer. Here are my issues with the business:
1. They are grossly understaffed to cater to the demand, hence it is extremely hard to find a therapist to match my health requirements.
2. They keep charging you monthly subscription and there is no option to pause it. You have to pay $20 a month just to be able to pause the subscription and still keep using the extra credits that one has accumulated. If you dont want to pay $20 to maintain the subscription, you cannot use your accumulated credits. What kind of a business policy is this?
This is utterly anti-consumer.
Hello ***, Here is the solution for incident #***, we have spoken to the client and worked out a solution for him to utilize his unused service hours. We have waived two months of his monthly membership payments and will be checking in with him towards the end of April to see if we need to waive another month or one of our other membership pausing options would be best for him.
