Massage Envy Costa Verde

Review: I was previously a member of this establishment; however, I cancelled my membership in November of 2014. I was instructed at this time to fill out the cancellation form, which I did at the company's premises. I was further told that my last payment would be due in December of 2014. I received a call from an employee at this location in January of 2015 that a payment was just processed. I then informed the associate that I cancelled my membership and my last payment should have been the month prior.

The associate apologized for the inconvenience and reversed the charges. She further stated that she would personally cancel my account/delete my information to prevent future charges. Unfortunately, I received another call in February of 2015 that a payment had just been processed. I explained the situation again, was told that the charges would be reversed, and I will no longer be charged. I am expecting to receive this same call again during this month (March). All of the charges I have been billed this year are completely without my consent, and I have heard others with the same horror story regarding membership cancellation.Desired Settlement: Obviously, this company has some rather shady business practices and should not be allowed to continually bill people without consent. I want a written apology and proof that I will not be billed in the future. Furthermore, I want to help others avoid this same gross misconduct in the future. Simply put, Massage Envy needs to be held accountable for their shady billing practices and should be fined/put out of business. If this continues, I will be forced to take legal action, as I basically view their continued charges without consent as theft.

Review: This company routinely overcharges my credit card for services that have a reduced price upon check-in on [redacted]. This happened in July and they refunded me the overcharge of $10. I was there again in December and they overcharged me again.

If they aren't willing to honor THEIR free service when a customer checks in on [redacted], then they ought NOT offer it. This is a routine practice of theirs and it must be stopped.Desired Settlement: I want them to refund the overcharge of $10 on my credit card on file.
