My mother has dementiaShe purchased their equipment over two years ago but never took out of the boxIn Feb I found it and contacted them to return itI returned it and they kept drafting her credit cardCalled again and was told it would stop and it continuedSpoke with them today and was told that their "system" accidently created a duplicate account and that they had cancelled one as I requested but the other one remained activeI was told today that they would cancelWhen I asked about refunding the months of drafts I was told they would have a supervisor contact meThese companies that take advantage of senior citizens ought to have their doors closedOh and BTW when you call them you get transferred a million times and stay on hold forever

I have sent the alert mechanics and a request for a refund several months ago by registered mail My bank account is STILL BEING DEBITEDI do not have a phone number and they have not acknowledged the returnmaybe you can shake them out of a sleep *** *** ***

MedGuard has continued making withdrawals from her checking account despite my calls to them, and after they promise to cease and desist.

My mother has dementia. She purchased their equipment over two years ago but never took out of the box. In Feb I found it and contacted them to return it. I returned it and they kept drafting her credit card. Called again and was told it would stop and it continued. Spoke with them today and was told that their "system" accidently created a duplicate account and that they had cancelled one as I requested but the other one remained active. I was told today that they would cancel. When I asked about refunding the 6 months of drafts I was told they would have a supervisor contact me. These companies that take advantage of senior citizens ought to have their doors closed. Oh and BTW when you call them you get transferred a million times and stay on hold forever.

My mother passed away in September 2015 and I returned most of the equipment. Medguard has continued to bill more than $100 per month for the past 6 months, claiming that until $300 is paid for the lost equipment, they will continue to bill, even though she is dead. So, the logic is that a dead person should have a medical alert paid monthly??? Clearly this is an intentional ripof!
