I have had Masseys Pest for years nowIn the last year they also gained my sub termite & my dry wall termiteI don't know If they changed management recently as their customer services are not up to parI recommended a friend to Masseys & was told that I would get my $gift card in to weeksAfter NUMEROUS of calls, I finally got it closer to months laterI then called them to let them know that their bait had caught a rat in my atticThey sent a technician out here to remove it but he didn't have any traps to replace the one he removedBeing a Pest Pro & showing up to a job site knowing that a rat was being removed & not have a replacement bait is unacceptableThat is like a baseball player going to a baseball game without his batThen the pest guy that removed the rat didn't even have a bag to put it inHe carried it from my attic on the second floor through my house without a bag & when he reached the 1st floor, a hairball fell off the rat to my floorBEWARE!

Pest control was not effectiveAlso, the contract that I signed turned out to have an auto-renewal clause, so they tried to charge me for another year without any warning

Signed a contract with Massey to prune,trim and weed. Payed for services in full for one year. They agreed to peform service once a week. Do not come and do any work each week. Call constantly to complain that nothing is being done.Palms trees are overgrown,weeds are every where,bushes always need trimming.We always tell [redacted] that you either have bad mamagement or bad employees. Our previous landscaper did a wonderful job but retired and they recommended Massey.We are very unhappy with Massey. We have a friend who got a refund because the service was so bad.

Massey services signed me up for a yearly contract with out my consent the guy who signed me up said it was only a trial for 2 months, and I come to find that I have a year contract with this place. and also they killed my lawn. I wouldnt recomend massey services to my worst enemy.

Massey Services recently bought out the pest control company I had been happily using for several years ([redacted]). They said nothing would change. Sadly, that was not at all true. The technician is a fine person and seems competent, but the scheduling, management and office personnel at Massey are indifferent at best and incompetent at worst. Because I work nights and sleep in the day, I asked Massey to notify me at least three days before a pest control appointment so that I can adjust my schedule. They sometimes call me on the day. This week their regional office notified me after business hours that someone would be out the next day, and told me to call the local office if I needed to schedule (without providing that phone number). How can I call and cancel when it's after hours? Some months they don't send a tech for 6 or 7 weeks; another month they sent a tech two weeks after he had been here and sprayed. Also, they stopped service inside the house and only do the outside. You have to request that the technician come in. We've been in our home since 2008 and saw our first mouse this week. The home office sends out brochures to try and sell additional services and always wants you to pay for a year up front. I scarcely trust them month-to-month and am unhappy with the service I have--why on earth would I pay upfront or buy additional services? I am going to search Angie's List for a smaller, more reliable company with personal service. I would not recommend Massey to anyone for anything.

Having used Massey for lawn treatment for over a year, I would rate their service as very poor. They refuse to check lawn when a problem arises.

I called to cancel my Massey services in July 2015 prior to moving out of my house and tenants moving in. I spoke to a rep, and I canceled the service with her, and told her I would let the tenants know about the service. I had pre-paid my services for a year in advanced so the rep told me they would continue with the services through the pre-paid time. I told the agent I would give the tenants the Massey info. should they want to sign up with Massey. My tenants didn't choose to sign up with Massey, and went with another company. I got a letter in the mail that I owed Massey $85.00. I spoke with a woman (office manager) at told her that I canceled the services, and she said I didn't cancel them. Then I requested that they credit this $85.00 out since I did in fact cancel, and the previous year I had paid them upfront a year in advanced, and had I planned on continuing with them I would have paid up front again. The reason I didn't pay up front again is because I canceled the service. I still have no confirmation from this office that I ever canceled the service, even after talking to them again--nothing in writing that states I canceled services in the summer of 2015 or again in early Jan. 2016 when I spoke to rep. How do I know that they aren't going to continue saying that I never canceled if they don't send out a cancellation confirmation? I would like this company to confirm that I am in fact canceled. I would hope in the future that they would treat former clients a little better because if I ever decide to move back into my house, I doubt I will call Massey after this experience.
