Shady Sales Practice and failure to complete promised services
On June 1st, a representative came to home stating that he worked for Massey and inquired about my current pest problems/services. I advised him that I currently had a company but was still dealing with earwigs, spiders and occasionally roaches. He stated he had a special offer that would $79 that had to be paid when initial service is completed and that the service will cover the full inside and outside. I scheduled for service that same week. They arrived and stated that the would do the outside first and the inside last. They were outside for about 10mins and when they came they stated that the had already did the inside yet no one sprayed or treated any of my living spaces . I asked the technician why and they said they only treat the bathrooms and kitchen. Then he left stating I would need to call the office. I immediately called the office to ask because the representative had advised me different and they stated if I seen activity after the treatment they would come back and treat those spaces which I was very unhappy with they did not even treat my garage . After that day the bugs got worse I called serval times to complain and was promised someone would call me back. It was. On Monday July 6th I got a call for a NC number saying something had went wrong with my payment and I asked was she also calling about my complaint and she said no. She gave me a Greenville number I updated my card information and asked when someone would be back out to treat my house since it had gotten worse and was told that I would have to pay another $79 to have someone come out . I immediately told her the person that came to my home stayed it would $79 first service and then $79 quarterly which her response was we have been hearing that but that's not correct . I requested everything be canceled since I didn't feel that a quality service was provided and that I was lied to . She stated ok and hung up and 10mins later charged my card for their service I was never happy with . I called back and received no help. The sales person lied about the the service terms and the technician did not service my house fully and now my pest problem is worst .

Desired Outcome

I was lied to and I did not receive the service I was promised. They stated if you are unhappy that they had money back guarantee which they are refusing to honor by still charging me

Regional Manager spoke to customer and agreed to allowance the expanded service and scheduled the Service Manager to meet with her and address the concerns inside this Thursday morning. She has agreed to keep the service moving forward. She is satisfied.

Massey Pest Services I have had a problem with bugs they could not resolve. I cancelled their services. and they would not cancel
I had two houses covered with Massey They could NOT GET RID of the bugs so I cancelled their service.On the first cancellation I was told it would not be cancelled until a service manager called me in 48 hours did not call for three weeks. and they billed me again, very DISHONEST !!!!!!!! On my second cancellation same story no call for 7 days this is a very DISHONEST COMPANY PLEASE PROTECT CONSUMERS FROM THEM

Our *** FL General Manager contacted Mr. and reviewed his concerns. Mr. services have been canceled as he requested.

In an effort to ensure all steps have been taken to meet a customer's needs we do not cancel accounts until a manager has spoken with them and all efforts to meet their needs have been attempted. Unfortunately, we were not able to get back in touch with Mr. in a timely manner.

I no longer want this service due to incompentcey and I am being charged for services I have not been given
I used to have to same person come to my house for pest service and the guy is no longer there. Then I have someone come to my house and do the outside, which I have told the company in the past my homeonwners does and they still did. Then they send out some non english speaking person again and didn't understand english and did not do what I asked! I am now being charged $60 for services I have not received and for a service that was not done to my liking.

Desired Outcome

I am cancelling this contract and they can eat the $60!

On the day we received the complaint, several attempts were made to contact the account holder. We were finally able to do so late in the afternoon and the General Manager went to meet with her. The account holder had been very happy with her veteran technician and when he retired she was upset that a new technician, who was not familiar with her preferences, was assigned to her account. Upon discussing the situation with her, it was decided that either the General Manager or the Service Manager would service her account from now on. An additional no charge service was performed and it was agreed that the charge for the disputed service would be credited to her account. The customer's concerns were satisfied and Massey Services considers the complaint closed.
