MasTec crew jack hammered my sidewalk for hours at 11PM at night, dug holes in yard and broke irrigation system
On Thursday April, 7th three crew members from MasTec started jack hammering my sidewalk at 11PM at nightI called the Austin Police Department since it is a violation of the city of Austin, Texas code ordinance to have loud noise which keeps someone awake past PM
When the Austin police arrived, they mentioned that I will have to file a complaint with the city of Austin for noise violation and to file a complaint with the Revdex.com to notify others of the excessive noise that occurred
This was not the first time MasTec has made noise directly outside my house past 10PMThey also had started late night construction on two other occasions about days apart from each other both of which were past 10PM at night and kept me up
MasTec sent a notification to my homeowners association stating that they are installing Google Fiber and have destroyed

I am a senior citizen of years old and I was home alone when a Mas Tec, Increpresentative knocked on my front door on Saturday, February 27, They wanted to inform me that they were going to install new fiber optic cable in the region between my house and the house in back of meI informed them that I was afraid that they would cut my phone service as well as cable and that I lived alone and this was my only means of communication with the outside worldThe representative informed me that if that would happen they would send someone immediately over to fix itWell, I went back in my house to watch TV and about minutes later my cable, phone and internet was ALL cut offI went outside to the back yard and told the man working there what he did and he told me to call the supervisorI called the Supervisor and I got no responseMy son finally came over to see me when he realized that my phone was cut off and that he could not reach meMy son as well called *** Tec, Incand only after the call did someone finally picked up the telephoneThis person was called *** and told my son that he was not responsible for the area that I lived and that he would call the supervisor in questionWe got a call back from *** and were informed that we needed to call our cable provider in order to get my services back on orderHence, it was the weekend and they would not be able to come for a few daysMy son called Comcast and they were able to come the next day at night to repair the cut service wire that the MasTec, IncseveredI was without phone, cable and internet for hoursI feel that MasTec, Incshould be more responsible when digging in someone's backyard and furthermore specially when they are leaving an old woman alone with no connection to the outside worldGod forbid I had a medical emergeny

We just moved into our new home at the beginning of JuneOn June 13, 2018, we met with Mr*** ***, a salesman with Mastec Advanced Technologies, an authorized dealer with ADTWe signed a contract for getting a security system in the houseA service tech by the name of *** came out that Friday to install the systemHe spent 4-hours trying to get the system up and runningHe installed all of the equipment, but was not able to maintain connection between the system and the monitoring companyAt that time he uninstalled all of the equipmentI received a phone call from *** a few days later saying that he had another system panel he would like to try and install for usI agreed to let him give it a tryHe came back and it was another 4-hours of installing and testing, and he had the same issues as the first panel and again had to uninstall all of the equipmentI then asked him what I needed to do in order to ensure I received a refund of my initial deposit*** sa

Mas Tech not honoring the claims processDug to lay cable, caused damaged, now no response/support with claims process
My complaint summary is basically the crux of the matterVia work that Mas Tec did in my community, there were damages that resulted in my having to pay out of pocket for repairsI described the matter in detail, provided the job number, my property address, e-mail and contact numberThus far I received some random call from a field associate '***' to deny that MasTec was on the job siteI also received an e-mail from *** *** apparently from an office, asking me for the same information I already submitted to the resolution center's e-mail addressMy HOA, ***-*** Property Management, has not only the letter on AT&T letterhead announcing MasTec as the subcontractors for the work, there is also another document that was sent with that announcement letter with photos of MasTec employeesSo there is no denying that this corporation did the wor

when installing fiber for at&t they ran the fiber line through my sewer pipewhen repairing the sewer pipe they damaged my driveway and pavers
when running fiber for at&t sometime in the middle of march, they damaged my sewer line causing my downstairs to floodon March 25th they had some guys repair the sewer line and during the repair they damaged my driveway paverstwice they have had people without the proper tools or expertise try to repair unsuccessfully

Refused to respond to claim after causing damage on my property
On 7/12/MasTec were sent to my property to bury AT&T fiber optics linesIn the process they caused damage to my irrigationI discovered it a couple of days later and filed claim with AT&T who routed me to their Claims processor SedgwickSierra Gaise from Segwick spoke with me on the phone relative to my claim XXXXXXXXon 7/16/and offered me a settlement of $which she also communicated in writing - I have a copy of that email from herShe advised me I had a couple of weeks to respond whether I accept it or, if I thought the damage was valued for more, have an estimate provided by a contractorI responded within a couple of days that I accept the settlement
Following my response, I started getting calls from the supervisor at the MasTec telling me he won't pay the claimI explained that the settlement was offered by SedgwickIn further communication with the Sedgwick agent Sierra Gause and the Mas

Illegitimate charge for a Direct TV Mover's Deal install
On July 26, a "Direct TV" installer was scheduled to install my receivers at my new home through their Movers Deal According to Direct TV, there was no charge for this install even if the technician needed to run new lines or install a new dish On site the installer informed me that there would be a $charge per line ran I tried to dispute this as Direct TV had informed me there would be no charge He disputed back and said if I wanted TV today, I would need to pay I said ok He then proceeded to tell me I could pay cash and it would only be $ I felt uncomfortable with paying him cash and said I would prefer credit card He told me that it was an inconvenience for him because he would have to call his supervisor and they would charge me an extra processing fee I told him that was fine
He proceeded with the install, then called his supervisor to complete the charge His supervisor identified thems

MAstec contracting for AT&T caused fire damage to my property while digging in my yarddays without powerDamages, losses, Plus repair expenses
I have called times the contact number in charge of my claim, wrote one email and it has been almost weeks and have not gotten a single response back from MastecThe work was performed without the proper underground utilities markingsI had repairs expenses in excess of $dollarsMy camper needs repair, Electronic equipment damages, stored food lossesdays sleeping in hot temperature without power with wife and small kidsHad I not been home that day my house would have burned down Burned the cable box as well outside in the yardFPL tech got electrocuted by hot fence

Poor workmanship and disrespect toward customers
I have only been a Directv customer for months and I has been truly horrendousAccording to Directv MasTec technicians did the installation and come out for the most recent service call to complete what they did not finishThe installation was shoddy and sub-standard from the beginningThe actual Diretv/AT&T employee that came to fix the system said the installation wasn't quite rightI had to call to get them to come out and bury a cable that they never buried in the first place and the Technician was completely rude and unprofessional from the moment he showed upHe made derogatory comments and finally said "I've got to get out of here before I lose it." This is absolutely no way to deal with a customer, especially while you are in their houseMasTec should be completely ashamed and appalled to have an employee that demonstrates such flagrant disrespect towards customersTo top it all off the workmanship is not of good qual

$4,damage to my property
After several backups in my house I called Pro Plumber to fix on June 22, They found AT&T fiber optic cable going through one side of my main drain line and out the other sideThe cost of digging up the drain line and replacing it was $
I spoke to At&T resolution and sent them pictures and videosAfter they investigated it they admitted it was their cable but the job was done by Mastec and Mastec is responsible for the damages
I reached out to Mastec July 5, and they responded they would handle itI followed up with them every month with emails since then but the have stopped responding to me

Telesphere Solutions falsely represented themselves as a carrier only to find out that they are a third party carrier for telephone serviceThey first came into our office and charged my company $for a wiring service to improve all the issues we were having with the telephone services, calls dropping, calls going no where, Static callsAfter paying the $we still continued having the same issues , This never corrected the issuesEach and every time we called for service - it was never their problem they would blame COMCAST or the area of our locationAfter discussing the issues with their sales management she told us it was their fault because they have issues with the software they useWe were told by an independent contractor the we need a T circuit ( Database strictly for telephone system) and when we suggested this to Telesphere they only stated they did not have the money to install this type of programAnd that there software was defectiveAfter losing employee

Property was damaged while digging to install AT&T cables
MasTec dug a hole in my driveway while doing work for AT&TAfter a long and difficult process of getting them to fix it, they finally put the driveway back together but they didn't do a good jobThe rain has made it worse and it looks terrible nowThe pavers rose up and separatedThe concrete where the utility box brokeWe have not contacted them again because dealing with them was a real hassle and getting them to put it back together as bad as they did was difficult enough
The team working on it was neglectful and unprofessionalThey would cover up the hole and dig it back up as they pleased, cut off our water, use large amounts of our water with some kind of machine they had, all without permissionWith the parking situation in our complex, having that hole for weeks was badWe also had to call Comcast to repair some damages they made that caused our Internet to go down

digging for AT&T, concrete driveway has been uplifted and cracked
Mastec has been contracted by AT&T do install huge concrete and metal boxes throughout the neighborhoodContractors have done this at least three times now Concrete driveway has been uplifted and cracked

Mastec installed equipment in my house that caused damange to two TVs
The first installer, employee # XXXXXX We also had an additional installer due to issues from the first install, *** employee # XXXXXX I recall the latest technician to assess said damage on 02/25/but I cannot locate his information at this time
At some point in time after the initial install, the service went down and all that was being displayed was an error code 775, cannot connect to satellite dish Friday February 25, a technician was dispatched and determined that the satellite wasn't getting enough power He proceeded to install an additional SWiM to give the system more power He went to the main unit which is the DVR to validate the system The main unit was finally working but the technician never checked the other four boxes Shortly after the technician left I went into the bedroom and noticed that the lights would not come on The circuit breaker was tripped I tried to reset it w

Left exposed cable in backyard
On May this company dug up my back yard to lay fiberThey left it a messI complained to them and they came back but neglected to resolve an issue with a cable they dug up when they pulled roots from a ficus treeI have left repeated messages and they have contacted me saying they would resolve and never haveA few weeks ago they asked for a pictureI sent it and still no one has resolved the issueBesides being a trip hazard, I have no idea what this cable goes to and if the lawn service cuts it, the expense to repair could be high

The lousy company put a giant ripple in my paver driveway and still have not sent anybody to repair it and it was just sealed and pressure cleaned
Company is working on a project for ATT and farming it to un-experienced and non speaking English cheap laborCalled several office and made them aware of the damage and got the impression they could care lessNo one has came or called in over a week
