Review: One man from MasterCare Carpet Cleaning, [redacted]ame to do the carpet cleaning and a sofa. Guy came in muttering under his breath, negative comments from the time he stepped into the front door. He was asked to do Sofa first so it would not disturb the elderly woman who lived there, he said "no it was his business and he was going to start with the carpet in the bedroom" and, that he was a veteran and demanded respect. and it was his job and he was going to do what 'he' wanted. So to the care givers protest he started with the one bedroom he completed the job in less than 10 mins. then when he came out to do the sofa he tried to sell her up on more service and was pushy about it and stopped cleaning he sofa and said he wanted more money. There was a handy-man at the resident he could hear what was happening and how the care giver that was being verbally abused by the carpet cleaner. The handy-man came out to see what was going on and what the disagreement was all about, and he asked [redacted] why he couldn't have started on the sofa fist? [redacted] again said he was being disrespected and that he was a veteran, and he became more and more agitated and the care giver saw [redacted] was making a fist with his hand and he was in the handy-man's face, she said out loud "I'm going to call the police if you didn't leave. He insisted on being paid, and the care giver said she was going to call the police, because [redacted] was not only verbally abusive but she feared he would start a fight with the handy-man as well, at that point [redacted] threatened to dump the dirty water on the carpet if he didn't get paid. They called the office where it was booked out of and they told [redacted] to leave the house. This entire encounter was so upsetting to everyone, Why did this happen, this was a real simple job that was priced out by the initial phone call and making of the appointment, there were no surprises. This up set every one greatly!Desired Settlement: That the public would know that this company has horrible unprofessional/ and very mentally unstable employees working for them who should not be working out in the public arena.

This was such a simple job.... how did it go so badly.... answer [redacted] and Mastercare Carpet Cleaners of Escondido, CA. I do not want anyone especially seniors to suffer this harassment for more money.

caused. The cleaners are trained to start from the furthest point of the job to be cleaned. I do

not think he understood there was a reason for him to begin with the sofa and then go to the

bedroom. [redacted] for any inconvenience that we may have caused you; there was no charge for

the room of cleaning we did. . ·

Review: They are currently advertising in all the discount magazines in North County San Diego. I had a coupon to clean a sofa or two chairs for $49.95 and a coupon to clean 2 rooms of carpet for $29.95. The technician tried to charge us three times the price for the carpet and double the price for my sofa (because it's a sectional) - no where on the ad did it say "sofas up to 10 feet or does not include sectionals", nor did the person who made the appointment ASK me the size of my sofa...Desired Settlement: I would like the owner, [redacted] to honor his advertised coupon, I would like him to change his as to reflect all the hidden costs and lies and I would like to be contacted with an apology and for them to finish the job.

Review: Mastercare advertises professional services using professional personnel , they showed up in an unmarked vehicle, tech did not have a company shirt. when I called office, they said they used sub contractors and not company personnel, and not tried to sell my wife same service for 2 1/2 times advertised price. Was supposed to clean entire house, worked for approx 35 minutes, told my wife he was done, made her pay and left. Did not place plastic under furniture, did not replace furniture in original place, carpet was not cleaned.Desired Settlement: Called business office, asked for owner to call me twice, but received no call

Due to your false advertising on using professional people ( you use subcontractors who are extremely unprofessional ) the way you left our carpets, and the low class non response from your owner who NEVER returned my phone calls, there is absolutely no way we would ever let you back into our home. The only way you can resolve my complaint would be to refund my money. If not, I have just begun in making the entire county know how terrible your company is.
