Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: there? are incorrect facts made first there were? two labels the one he fail to acknowledge was the one that stated? ""SPECIAL PRECAUTION CARE TO BEADING AND EMBROIDERY CLEANING NO IRONING AND STEAMING ON THE EMMBROIDERY AND BEADING."? ? Based on this label I did ask if they steamed or ironed the skirt I have? know way to know ? ? what they did that caused the damage, but I do know they did damage the skirt and reattached some beads back.? The skirt had beads running down each side of the skirt the number of beads still? on the one side are still and off on the other side still on and offAlso I did not reject him paying for the test he stated that would prove to me that it was not his fault he did not what to pay it, which he stated would cost $but he instead offered to pay me that $which I did reject.? I stated that based on the damage to the skirt I cant wear the suit because the jacket has the same beads on it so I don't have a suit I can wearI just what to be made wholeI look to see if I could find another white suit that I could get? I stop looking based on his response to faultI can verify the $cost of the suitI just want an undamaged white suit I can wear or be paid for my suitHe also failed to acknowledge that if in the past if ? he felt that there would be problems with an item he would not attempt to clean so I had a confidence in him that if he thought there would be a problem he would not clean it I very disappointed in his misleading response.? I cleaned just the skirt portion because we had to take the broaches off or else they would be damaged.? I held onto the blazer and cleaned the skirt.? I was shocked that after it was cleaned that almost all of the sequins they glued came off.? It was a dry clean only.? There was an indentation where the glue was.? The customer came and saw, disappointed, and we explained it to her.? The label should not have said dry clean only, because the dry cleaning ruined it.? This is not the dry cleaner’s fault.? She claimed that we steamed it and we did not.? There is one place (used to be called IFI, now DLI) where this can be sent to analyze the issue, which would cost me about $100.? She didn’t want to.? She said the suit cost $but the only damage was on the skirt.? The top had no damage at all.? We offered her to send it to this DLI place to analyze the damage to show it was not the dry cleaner’s fault.? I offered her $and she rejected that offer.? I don’t want to antagonize her since it is already a bad situation.? I have been in business for years.? We have made mistakes through the years but this one was not our fault.? I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

As stated in my original complaint the evaluation was to include a Video Otoscope Exam which wasn't performedMr*** performed a Audiogram

When Mrs*** scheduled her appointment, it was explained that if she had ahearing problem, the time needed for a complete evaluation could be an hourAs itturned out, her hearing loss is borderline and the need for hearing aids is marginalMr*** was also screened and his results were
similar to hersMr***, the hearinginstrument specialist, also performed an otoscopic exam for each of them.Their son, *** ***, was to be screened but the otoscopic exam revealed waxblockage in both ears and he was advised to see a medical doctor.The *** family was at our Lynchburg office for an hour and one-half andeverything that should and could be done was accomplished, all at no chargeTheyshould return to our office for an annual re-test or if they happen to experience a changein their hearing.Best Regards, *** ** ***

Mrs*** is welcome to return to our office if for some reason she feels that we did not complete her FREE evaluation. Once again we did see her and her husband and will be glad to see either of them again

I have been in business for yearsWe do not honor competitor’s coupons, never have and never willWe send a coupon out once a year and that is the only coupon we acceptWe are superior and quality in serviceWe do not do work like American Cleaners

Also I did not reject him paying for the test he stated that would prove to me that it was not his fault he did not what to pay it, which he stated would cost $150.00 but he instead offered to pay me that $150.00 which I did reject.  I stated that based on the damage to the skirt I cant wear the suit because the jacket has the same beads on it so I don't have a suit I can wear. I just what to be made whole. I look to see if I could find another white suit that I could get I stop looking based on his response to fault. I can verify the $289.00 cost of the suit. I just want an undamaged white suit I can wear or be paid for my suit. He also failed to acknowledge that if in the past if  he felt that there would be problems with an item he would not attempt to clean so I had a confidence in him that if he thought there would be a problem he would not clean it . I very disappointed in his misleading response.  I can show the suit if you need  me to prove the numbers I stated.

For now, as an initial step, yes I accept this. I am willing and wanting to solve this issue.
However, this showed that if I put yes the complaint would be resolved. I do not feel it can be resolved without several steps.

Last evening I walked through the job with homeowner and our project manager. We have created a final punch list with the homeowner's help. The items she has brought to our attention will be scheduled for repair. The flooring is the only issue we need to investigate further. We will be bringing in a new installer to see how best to rectify the situation. We explained it might be a couple of weeks to get everything together and potentially longer if materials will have to be ordered. Homeowner said that would be fine as long as it gets done and done right. We acknowledge that we have some issues to fix and appreciate having the opportunity to make them right.

Review: This business owner promised me that my Gucci purse will be polished clean. I was skeptical at the time but because she stated "no problem cleaning named brand purses and they are done by perfessionals". She said it will take one week for the service. I waited for six weeks and didn't hear anything from her so I stop by the shop. I told her I am excited to see my clean purse. Shockingly, my purse looked so mutilated like someone had taken the purse and dunk it in some kind of strong chemicals. I was in tears when I saw my favorite purse treated so badly. This purse have so much meanings to me because it was from my husband. I feel this owner needs to take full responsibility for her action.Desired Settlement: I am asking the owner for a replacement.
