Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/10/18) */
I am the 2cnd painter to try and paint [redacted]'s town house. The first company was[redacted]. We (my self and 1 of my painters. I have the pay roll checks and paint receipts for her place. The six hours is a flat out lye and slanderous, Her doors...

where ruined by the previous paint company and took some time to fix. She has her doors and would not allow me to install them. If we where 5 min, late she would not let the front desk let us in. If she was going out of down or had an appointment ,we where not to show that day. We have Over 59 hrs of work in her place. The color she picked took 3 to 4 coats to paint, and a semi gloss finish, she was constantly under foot and her cat bit one of my painters ,he had in fact Hated that job and he quit, She added more enamel than the touch up enameling she was quoted and agreed to pay more, 500 .00. then she changed her mind after it was done. [redacted] paid her bill with checks from her clients and left blank . She would then fill out the name of the person she was paying. I believe she was on work mans com during some of time that myself and[redacted] was there and that's way she paid her bills that way. I have copies of the check and would forward them to any agency that would like to she them. She had a lot of checks, in a drawer. We did what we could for her, but she asked for more work that she was willing to pay for. [redacted] got more work than she paid for. I believe she cheats the system and any one who works for her. I have been in touch with my former painter and he is willing to assist in this matter, should it go further. I have never had a issue that could not be worked out with my customers. This is a first. I do not like my company being lied about ,and will go to court to set the record strait. Thank you
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2015/10/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The facts remain the same. David [redacted] of Mastercoat painters LLC was paid in full and has not fulfilled his contractual obligations.
I'm requesting documentation of the fabricated 59hrs of work to my 960 sq ft condo. (Not Townhome as he states.)
Also the 600.00 dollars in paint he states he spent.
The majority of his response is just more of the same.Excuse after excuse.
Interesting to find out just now that my cat "bit" his only painter who showed up. And that he quit because he hated the job.
I should have had an agreed finish time but I trusted him. That was a mistake.
My doors were dropped off on OCT 9TH 2015
I Still am requesting 500-800 to finish the remainder of the contract including painting the doors ,fixing the cracks, finishing the window sills. I'm willing to see an arbitrator to resolve this issue.
I want results, not more excuses!

Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2015/10/23) */
I can produce the pay roll and the painter I paid for work on [redacted]'s condo, It is still fact that she added work and was not willing to pay for her added work. There is 1 door and soffit to paint. I do not see her disputing the added work, and she owes 500.00 to finish her job. She can take the money (other peoples checks)and pay a third painter to finish. her work. There is no resolution for [redacted]. I do she can come to term with her control issues and move on with a third painter. I at this point, can not help her.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 15, 2015/10/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The contract has not been fulfilled.
David [redacted] of Mastercoat Painters LLC has taken my money and left my home a huge mess.
The blinds were not put back up, the vents were out, wall plates were not put back. screws and parts were in different bowls. This is on top of the spackle on the soffit, tape on the window sills and two doors that still need to be painted.
I will need to pay someone else to come in and finish what was in our contract that he has already been paid in full.
Again I'm willing to go through arbitration.
The cost to complete the work will be between 500-800 dollars.
