Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I sent one case to him years ago (just one denture) We had to it because there were some issues with the bite I just opened my practice then, and I hadn't had to do many dentures before that point in my career, so there was a bit of a learning curve to improve our denture making techniques The could have been some error on my part I don't know I'm not perfect, and I'd never claim to be We have done tons and tons of dentures since very successfullyBut, on that basis, I am "a terrible dentist." Until this situation, I never spoke an unkind word to this man In fact, I still have not spoken an unkind word I have not accused his lab of doing terrible work, or resort to calling him stupid, or anything like that I'm sticking to the issue at hand I do not know why he is so hostile on the basis of that one interaction I was shocked when Mastercraft would not do business with me because Scott has held onto some grudge that is three years old I had no knowledge of being overdue on my account for that one patient (if I was) If that's the case, I apologize I have great credit, and I pay my bills! On November 1st, when I was told that he would not work with me, (and that patient would have to drop off and pick it up), I told everyone in this office, including the patient, not to go there Our original question was whether or not the patient could get the repair done that VERY DAY The patient ended up deciding not to do it that day anyway My front desk unfortunately, faxed the script as they were inquiring just to expedite things should we choose to go forward However, the script was totally incorrect It said to repair the lower denture In fact, the repair was for the upper denture Mastercraft did not follow the script The patient went two days later (on his own accord) and Mastercraft repaired the upper denture There was no phone call to verify that the script was incorrect I did not write it or see it or condone it Dental labs are not supposed to allow patients to come directly to them, and deliver cases directly back to the patients That is improper protocol and can be considered "practicing dentistry without a license." I am telling the absolute truth The patient in question is still my patient He is not seeing another dentist However, for the upper denture repair he went to the original dentist who did the denture to get the repair I am doing other work for him, not related to the upper dentureScott is more interested in bullying and name calling Scott knows very well that he insisted that he would not take payment from me Then, the patient goes there without my consent, and he doesn't pay (because he was unhappy with it That's what he told me!) But, why should I get the bill, and be harassed by Scott for making a fair request to write that off? It's unreal This back and forth is not working I will have to pursue it in a more civilized way from hereI did add the first statement however More will be collected Regards, [redacted]

Just about everything that Dr [redacted] Stated is totally untrue and even fabricated !!! Her office did ask for the work to be completed and did fax us a script but as per norm for her did not pay the bill AGAIN !! So I absolutely dispute this complaint and am also considering a Law suite against her for defamation of character. The work was performed and the Patient left satisfied Scott M [redacted] Master Craft Dental Lab [redacted]

The patient came to the lab and paid his bill.I have stopped the collections process. As far as I am concerned this matter is closed unless Dr wants to push it .No other contact from this Dr office to Master Craft is requested .Scott M***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am telling the absolute truth I definitely told the patient NOT to go to the lab I will seek a signed statement from him, as well as everyone in my office I have plenty of witnesses! Also, Master Craft said they would ONLY work with me if they collected from the patient I said NO WAY to that I did not sign the script My front desk initiated the script when they were trying to investigate options for the patient. In invite MrM [redacted] to try to sue me for defamation of character :) Regards, [redacted]

As I stated in my first response
Dr *** is absolutely fabricating most of her story and she is totally hung up on not signing the script, not much intelligence in that comment in this day and ageWith e-mail and fax, and we can play the witness part all she wants as I have at least people who dealt with her office and the patientAs for her patient being willing to give a written statement , well lets think about that ,here is a man that skipped out on his bill and is trying not to pay now ? Again not much common sense in this thought processAnd Dr is just as dishonest on this case as she has been in the past with not paying her invoice on time and giving substandard treatment to her patientsMaybe that is why her patient need to see a different Dentist I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Dental board for her substandard treatment of Patients and she may get her wish with a Law suiteBottom line here is she sent a patient we did the work and he does not want to pay his bill
She is responsible for it and I will go to what ever lengths necessary to collect and if this means court and Attorneys and a few thousand dollars so be it !!!!
I will make this a priorityDishonest people are what is wrong with this business anyway and she has no business practicing !!!!!

I am rejecting this response because:
I sent one case to him 3 years ago (just one denture).  We had to re-do it because there were some issues with the bite.  I just opened my practice then, and I hadn't had to do many dentures before that point in my career, so there was a bit of a learning curve to improve our denture making techniques.  The re-do could have been some error on my part.  I don't know.  I'm not perfect, and I'd never claim to be.  We have done tons and tons of dentures since very successfully.
But, on that basis, I am "a terrible dentist."  Until this situation, I never spoke an unkind word to this man.  In fact, I still have not spoken an unkind word.  I have not accused his lab of doing terrible work, or resort to calling him stupid, or anything like that.  I'm sticking to the issue at hand.   I do not know why he is so hostile on the basis of that one interaction.  I was shocked when Mastercraft would not do business with me because Scott has held onto some grudge that is three years old.  I had no knowledge of being overdue on my account for that one patient (if I was).   If that's the case, I apologize.  I have great credit, and I pay my bills!  On November 1st, when I was told that he would not work with me, (and that patient would have to drop off and pick it up), I told everyone in this office, including the patient, not to go there.  Our original question was whether or not the patient could get the repair done that VERY DAY.  The patient ended up deciding not to do it that day anyway.  My front desk unfortunately, faxed the script as they were inquiring just to expedite things should we choose to go forward.  However, the script was totally incorrect.  It said to repair the lower denture.  In fact, the repair was for the upper denture.   Mastercraft did not follow the script.  The patient went two days later (on his own accord) and Mastercraft repaired the upper denture.  There was no phone call to verify that the script was incorrect.  I did not write it or see it or condone it.  Dental labs are not supposed to allow patients to come directly to them, and deliver cases directly back to the patients.  That is improper protocol and can be considered "practicing dentistry without a license."

I did add the first statement however.  More will be collected.
