Master Funding Reviews (3)

A foreclosure was placed on my home in Mono County Mammoth Lakes, CA from Master Funding Co., Temecula, CA without providing me with prior notice that they were even considering of doing this I received no written communication by mail nor email from Master Funding company stating that they were going to be placing a foreclosure onto my home in Mono County December The notice filed with the county states that Master Funding Co., can sell my home through foreclosure on April 4, Shouldn't Master Funding Co have contacted me prior/before they placed a FORECLOSURE onto my home? Is this legal to place a foreclosure on a home first without any form of communication in the state of California? I am scared that my home is going to be sold and that there is nothing which I can do about this I need your help to help me find the proper way a business is to file on a foreclosure and what I can do to protect myself from getting foreclosed on Sincerely, [redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2016/04/08) */
We have received your letter in the referenced matter
Our company is a trustee that handles non judicial foreclosures on real property secured by deeds of trust
In this matter we are foreclosing on property in Mammoth Lakes owned by the
complainant you refer to as our "customer."
In fact she is not our customer but rather is the debtor of our customerAs a debtor she has been in default on her obligation for several years
The complainant could resolve this matter easily by simply paying the debt she owes, or by communicating with us to arrange for a modification of her acknowledged debt
By copy of this email to complainant I ask her to call our office to discuss terms for renegotiation of her debt
