The two bathroom vanities were not contracted to install so they were not installed. We sealed the shower but he did not like how it was sealed so we cut it all out. Then he stated that he would seal the shower himself. The hanging lights are a formality. They just need to be pushed up. The crown...

molding was not sealed to the ceiling. This is normal.  The customer picked out [redacted] green for his bathroom and did not like it. We painted over it 3 times. There was a small scratch in the sink that cannot say we did or did not do but I offered to repair it. We had plastic down all over the carpet in the basement. There were some small pieces of paint on the carpet and we fix the issue. We wiped down the tile in the shower to remove the haze. We did not seal the handles of the shower faucet as we were asked not to. Regarding the face plate in the bathroom that was replaced with glue. The face plate was originally installed using glue. Per the agreement we would cleaned going into a weekend and when the job was done and it was not all over their house. It was their decision to clean up every night. The standing light fixture that he states was stored in the laundry room was not in the laundry room at all but was the only light source in the basement and we were told to use it. I know nothing about a missing [redacted] battery but I gave him 2 new ones as replacement. I cannot say whether we broke the sliding door mirror in his guest room but I paid to have it replaced. We understand that the customer was ill however the sanding was only done within the work area. The customer would not have been exposed unless he was in our work area. We went through the house with the customers and allowed them to put a post it note in places where they had concerns. We confirmed all concerns were repaired and we came back and the customer had left more post it notes. We finished the project to look like the rest of the house or better. I asked the customer how much money he wanted off of the bid as it seemed he just wanted a discount. At the end of the job I had him sign a release because we were not able to caulk the shower and he had removed the seals from the doors. He contacted me stating that he had to contact a plumber to repair the water leak from the shower into his kitchen. I asked him what was done and he told me the cause of the leak was that there was no seal around the shower control or diverter. Again this was work we were asked not to do and were informed the customer would do himself. In short the customer paid $2000 to put sealant around the controls we were told not to seal. I told him the job would have been less that $500 and he had signed a release stating he asked me not to do it. In good faith I offered him $500 for that repair and $300 for the lamp he stated was $150 and I gave him 2 [redacted] batteries valued at $99 each to replace his single [redacted] battery that he says went missing. He accepted this offer. He stated that he would remove the complaint. All of his concerns were repaired or fixed to better than industry standards.
