Review: I bought 3 packs of the master locks 4 locks in each pack a total of 12 locks and the problem I am having is that all the locks the keys didn't work at all I wasn't happy with this and would like to have replacements sent to me or a refund of a total of $62.74 please and thank you I am a regular buyer of the master lock products and I wasn't happy with the way these turn up thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soonDesired Settlement: I would a replacement of the products I bought or to get a refund of the amount in $62.74 please and thank you so very much

Customer Service Representative spoke with customer on 5/28/14. Locks in question will be replaced. Customer was satisfied with that resolution and the replacement order has been placed in our system.

Review: I purchased the house on [redacted] in 1995. I am the original owner of this house. The front door has the original Master Lock door lock which came with a "Full Lifetime Mechanical Warranty" which states that "All door hardware is warranted to be free from mechanical defects for the life of the product." The warranty specifies that the broken locks would be repaired or replaced. The thumb latch spring on the lock has recently failed (door can no longer be opened from the outside), and the company refuses to honor the Warranty and send a replacement.Desired Settlement: Replacement of the failed door lock.

Mr. [redacted] originally contacted Customer Service regarding a door hardware product he purchased 18 years ago. The product has long since been discontinued and our Customer Care representative advised Mr. [redacted] the problem he was experiencing with the door lock fell under normal "wear and tear" and was not covered by our limited lifetime warranty.

However, we again contacted Mr. [redacted] and offered him a comparable product from our current door hardware offering. Mr. [redacted] did pick a replacement, and he should receive his replacement this week (week of August 26-30).

We believe this issue has now been resolved to the satisfaction of the consumer.

I have ALWAYS been under the impression that Master Lock was a top of the line lock, and would give me a solid piece of mind knowing that I protect my lockable things with this brand. I have completely changed the way I think now. I am SERIOUSLY disappointed with the quality of there locks. I have been noticing over the last few years that a lot of the master locks I have purchased, will open with many different master lock keys. Today I went to the auto parts store to buy a trailer ball lock and a pin lock for the trailer. I picked up both products and headed to the counter. While standing at the counter I decided to try the keys of both products I was about to purchase in the opposite locks and guess what, they both unlocked. SO then I grabbed my key ring, I have 7 different master keys on my key ring, EVERY one of them is cut differently. The Trailer ball lock, unlocked with 5 of the 7 keys on my key ring, the pin lock opened with EVERY key on my key ring.. This is unacceptable and VERY poor quality.

Review: I purchase a Master Lock Speed Dial for my gym locker. One day I went to put my bag in and lock the locker, however the lock was missing. I wrote it off as being missed placed. I purchase another speed lock and within two months the speed lock dial wouldn't stay locked.

The concept of a speed lock is great however, the product doesn't work. I would like two new locks sent to me. If you correct the speed lock issue I will take the speed lock. But I would prefer a dial lock. (Please don't send a combination lock)
