Long story short, my phone completely broke.  it was dropped in water and fried.  All info related to the move was on the phone and I was unable to contact the client.  After I received my replacement, I tried to contact the client, but they never answered.I will not pay...

him anything.  It was a seriously unfortunate accident, but he could have called around until he found another company to do it for the rate I quoted or less.  It is in no way my responsibility to pay him the difference of whom he decided to hire when I was unable to complete the work.
