This invoice is for services rendered per your request and authorizationThis invoice was discounted at the time of service by myself simply because I felt terrible for the situation you were in at the timeMyself nor any employee of our companies caused your/this issueYour sewer issue is not
our responsibility and yet we still attempted to provide you with significantly discounted servicesYou declined the recommended option and complained about the lowest option anyone can possibly provide The work we completed in Nov was warrantied for year and at no time between Nov and May had we been contacted or informed of any issuesThe section of line we replaced is still good years laterThere is nothing for me to warrantyI'm not responsible for any bad decisions made to install plumbing that has no way to discharge to City sewer by the home ownerAs much as I feel bad for your tenants, the elderly property owner and her local lawyer son you represent, I expect full payment of the mentioned invoice, if full payment is not received in our office in the next calendar days it will be turned over to an outside collection agency and additional charges will apply. The following is the email communication sent to you at the time of us trying to help you through this situation.***,I’m truly sorry that we have failed to not only meet your expectations but to exceed your expectations, which is always our goal at Master Rooter Plumbing & Master ExcavationWe do understand how frustrating it can be to expect a certain level of service and feel as though this expectation has not been met It is rare that we are not able to send each and every customer away happy which is truly a misfortune for both of usWhat I can guarantee you is that each member of our team resides within and raises our families in this community and truly desire to serve the people within it as if they are a member of our own family.There has been no negligence or unethical actions involved in this bid or with the work done in The option to replace the line with a line with grade was one discussed in my office with you on Wednesday the 3rd. You referred to it as the ‘Cadillac’ version that was too expensive for consideration A bid for the option you elected to go with was prepared and sent over to you in hours of being able to inspect the job siteThis is not as quick as we are accustom to turning around bids however this one relied on other companies returning information to us after some needed researchI did not hear back from you until Monday the 8th and was able to contact our Plumber and get your questions answered in under hours. On Tuesday I returned finding a few more questions from you and immediately sent out messages to gather answersAt no time during this days were we given any approval to start any workI am truly sorry that you do not feel like we acted with urgency.We agree that this option is not the best option as stated during our meeting one week ago today. And assuming what conversations took place years ago is just not something I am willing to doThe only facts from that time are documented and only mention the broken line due to root intrusion. If there was no history (none that we have) of sewer backups prior to this time it is easy to see why the owner would have felt like the only course of action needed was to repair the broken line The line was broken and we replaced it with a line that is still not brokenWhat I don’t have to assume, but can assure you, is that the individuals involved from Master Excavation did act with integrityFor the sake of assisting the customer and the best business decision would have been to complete more work than simply the line replacement The work completed was approved prior to starting, the work was pre-approved by the City and inspected and approved at completion. There is no faulty work for me to warranty, this element does not eliminate my or our companies integrity. You were extended a bid with discounted services to ease the financial circumstance of the owner due to nothing other than our ethics and integrity Keep in mind that we were not the plumbers that installed plumbing in the basement of this home causing the frustrating situation at hand and cannot be held liable for those involved not including sewage discharge as part of the upgrades made at that time.Again I’m truly sorry that you/tenant/owner are in this predicament and wish you the best of luck with finding a successful solution.Thank YouLori H***
