Dear Ms. [redacted]: I am writing regarding Case #[redacted]. We did install a lower porch roof only for Mr. [redacted] on April 26, 2016. When Mr. [redacted] called I did go by his home and inspect the area he was referring to. This area was not part of my Contract and...

leaking was occurring due to roof shingles being installed too short over the soffit on an upper roof on his home. I did not install this roof and the roof was completed some time ago. He stated he had some shingles left over and would I install them along the edges As a favor I told him I would install some shingles along the edges at no charge. The leaking is being caused in my opinion by driving rain and we have experienced an abundance of rain during recent months. Right after going out and meeting with him my truck had to go into the shop for major repairs and I was without truck transportation for over three weeks. I called and informed him of this situation. I was unable to carry ladders and the proper tools to do this roofing work for him. I called Mr. [redacted] on August 12, 2016 and advised I was able to fix this roof area and he said not to bother.

After 3 months of mopping every time it sprinkles, its time to move on to get something done. I had contacted Keith May 4th, 18th, 20th, 26th, June 7th, 8th 9th, 22nd, sent pictures July 27.  He did come by and said the corner leak was from a workmanship issue and the other leak was coming from the other roof. He never showed up since.  He did call and said his truck was in the shop.   You don't need a truck to fix two leaks, I have a ladder.
The new roofing company has looked at the roof and stated there are other installation issues that may have to be addressed.
Bottom Line:  The roof was installed in April, and we still have water leaking issues at the end of August,  3 months of  excuses and no shows.
I will get the issue resolved myself.  Lesson Learned...

Review: Keith T[redacted] with MHP installed a new porch roof on April 26th, 2016. He was paid in full the amount of $2935. The roof leaked in one section the first rain event. I contacted Keith T[redacted] May 2nd, May 4th and May 18th. He came out May 26th and looked at the area and stated that "his guy should of done a better job on the corner". He said he would be there the next Monday to repair. He was a no show the next week and I continued to call. He finally called back and said his truck was in the shop.

It's now July 12th and the roof still leaks. I am in the process of finding another contractor to repair the leak.

Keith T[redacted] # [redacted]

License No. 270 513 2809 A Expires 9/30/2014Desired Settlement: Would like for MHP pay for the repair if I can find a roofer to fix someones else installation or come out and fix the installation error.

Review: Master Seal replaced existing windows on our porch with five sliding glass doors in June of 2011. The doors have leaked since installation. We called Master Seal and they came back several times to try and fix the leaks but were never successful. After a year or so, they quit taking our phone calls. The doors continue to leak and now the porch floor is rotting out.Desired Settlement: Reinstall doors properly so that they don't leak.
