Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] [After the technician being minutes late (after a window of 10:- 11:30), and not even the two other people who I was told were coming, I was concerned as I had a medical commitment and asked if he could possibly return later at p.mHe said yes, but it would cost me another $I NEVER said to "hurry up"That is untrueI was resigned to the $because I had no other choiceI could not go without a toiletAnd that is the same reason I would not accept to wait days for a different technician I certainly could not wait days to use a toilet! If he was "perfectly qualified" , then how did he mess up such a simple job in the first place? I was unhappy about the price, but knew that plumbers generally charge a lotThe tank was running constantly, and for certain physical reasons, I could not bend to use the shut-off valveIt was only when the toilet stopped flushing again days later that I became angry, frustrated, taken advantage of, and felt ripped offIf this had not happened, I would have written it all off as a VERY expensive repairThe rudeness and disrespect is worthy of a complaint all by itself Regards, [redacted]

We have done all we can to make this rightWe offered her a full refund, when she called to complain, and she was unhappy we couldn’t send a different technician as requested. We have nothing more to add to this. If she would like her payment refunded, all she has to do is provide her mailing address, as we have asked her for it repeatedly. We wish her all the best in her quest to be upset with our company

Mrs *** scheduled an appointment for us to come make a repair. We showed up in a professionally lettered truck, and diagnosed her plumbing issue. We gave her a price upfront of $which she agreed too. When our employee came back into the house to make the repair, she
told him to “hurry up because I have to leave” He made the repair and collected payment for the services The next week she called back to let us know the her Toilet was doing the same thing, and demanded service that day We offered to send our employee back with in the hour. She then yelled at us saying “I don’t want the same guy, because he doesn’t know what he is doing, and that her husband could have fixed it faster. I let her know that our other plumbers were all fully booked or scheduled for the next several days, and that if she wanted service today as she demanded, that she would have to let the original repairman in I assured her that mistakes are sometimes made, and we are happy to correct it. I also told her that our man was more than qualified to make the repair, and to please give him a second chance She replied with “well I’m not paying another dollar for this”. I told her we stood behind our work, and that we would not be charging her for anything else She then said “well, I’m calling the Revdex.com, to file a complaint” It was at this point I realized that no matter what we did to make things right, we were never going to make Mrs *** content, as she had decided that she was unhappy, and nothing we offered was going to make it right to her I asked her for her mailing address, (we have her home address, but I don’t believe that neighborhood has curbside mail delivery) and told her I was going to send her a company check for the amount she paid($275) and then she could hire another company she felt comfortable with to make the repairs She wouldn’t give me the address, and just kept asking over and over “are you refusing me service? Are you refusing me service?” I did try to answer yes to her, but she just kept asking that over and over, where I couldn’t get a word in. I asked one last time and told her “I’m hanging up in seconds, so if you’d like a refund I need your address.” She continued to ask over and over if I was refusing her service, so as she wasn’t replying or responding, I hung up and immediately sent her an email. I will insert a screenshot here. Please note that it was sent before she filed this complaint. Why tried everything to make things right, but she wasn’t looking for a solution. We’re sorry she felt that she had to file a complaint, because we had already offered her a 100% refund We take customer satisfaction very seriously. We are the most reviewed plumbing contractor in our area, and have all star reviews. (*** ) This is our first negative experience with a customer, and it caught us by surprise We hope that this complaint is seen for what it is, and that It goes away

[After the technician being 45 minutes late (after a window of 10:30 - 11:30), and not even the two other people who I was told were coming, I was concerned as I had a medical commitment and asked if he could possibly return later at 4 p.m. He said yes, but it would cost me another $125.00. I NEVER said to "hurry up". That is untrue. I was resigned to the $275.00 because I had no other choice. I could not go without a toilet. And that is the same reason I would not accept to wait 4 days for a different technician . I certainly could not wait 4 days to use a toilet! If he was "perfectly qualified" , then how did he mess up such a simple job in the first place. ? I was unhappy about the price, but knew that plumbers generally charge a lot. The tank was running constantly, and for certain physical reasons, I could not bend to use the shut-off valve. It was only when the toilet stopped flushing again 4 days later that I became angry, frustrated, taken advantage of, and felt ripped off. If this had not happened, I would have written it all off as a VERY expensive repair. The rudeness and disrespect is worthy of a complaint all by itself.
