Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because several statements stated by the Mastercraft are untrueWe did not talk about water on the concrete at all when I regeistered my complaint with Rod the owner of the business and I never did get angry but simply stated "I cannot believe you are not interested in coming to look at the cracks in the sidewalk and driveway."His response was "I cannot believe that you are holding me responible for the cracked concrete".I paid several thousand dollars to have a small apron in front of our double car garage (20' feet X 20' approx.) and single foot wide side sidewalk by about feet long replacedTHEY DID assure me that metal reinforcement bar was not needed due the "fiberglass" in the cement mixI explained to Rod that my main concern and why I was replacing the cement was to replace cracked concrete and prevent cracking in the future.I have hired this company for three major additions (flat concrete) for our local business in addition to recommending them for a fairly large commercial project which they did for a family member which was based upon our recommendationIif this is how they treat their repeat customers I am truly surprised that they are still in business. In addition to the cracking of the concrete problem that exists, while doing the job one of Rod's workers hit our house twice with a bobcat doing some damage that we overlooked and they also dumped left over cement in our driveway which we have had to deal withWe are aware of other projects that they have done for local government agencies which they had been required to due to the job not being done correctly. In the future we certainly WILL NOT be hiring Mastercraft to help with our building projects or recommending this company to others looking for help with concrete work Sincerely, [redacted]

*** called me on my cell phone and asked
me to come to his houseWhen I ask why he said he had a crack in his driveway
that we replaced in When I asked him if that area has been subject to a
lot of water he said yesThen I told him that is probably why it racked and
there was no use
to look at it.We did all we could to prevent it from
cracking when we placed the driveway in 2013, compacteddrowel into foundation
with #rebar, Place I with a low slump, cut control joints on even sq'sIf it
would have happen right away I would have stood behind it.He the got very irate and demands to have the
driveway replaced have put rebar in itIf he wanted a thicker slab with
provided thatHe also said that I told him I didn't need itNot true and I did
not assure him he woulddriveway and sidewalkThat had fell down and to no compaction in

I am rejecting this response because several statements stated by the Mastercraft are untrue. We did not talk about water on the concrete at all when I regeistered my complaint with Rod the owner of the  business and I never did get angry but simply stated "I cannot believe you are not interested in coming to look at the cracks in the sidewalk and driveway.". His response was "I cannot believe that you are holding me responible for the cracked concrete".I paid several thousand dollars to have a small apron in front of our double car garage (20' feet X 20' approx.) and single 4 foot wide  side sidewalk by about 30 feet long replaced. THEY DID assure me that metal reinforcement bar was not needed due the "fiberglass" in the cement mix. I explained to Rod that my main concern and why I was replacing the cement was to replace cracked concrete and prevent cracking in the future.I have hired this company for three major additions (flat concrete) for our local business in addition to recommending them for a  fairly large commercial project which they did for a family member which was based  upon our recommendation. Iif  this is how they treat their repeat customers I am truly surprised that they are still in business. In addition to the cracking of the  concrete problem that exists, while doing the job one of Rod's workers hit our house twice with a bobcat doing some damage that we overlooked and they also  dumped left over cement in our driveway which we have had to deal with. We are aware of other projects that they have done for local government agencies which they had been required to re-do due to the job not being done correctly. In the future we certainly WILL NOT be hiring Mastercraft to help with our building projects or recommending this company to others looking for help with concrete work.
Sincerely,
