Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The response does not address my concernsMy complaint was that I was deceived into thinking that William V*** of Masterpiece Flooring was the licensed contractor who was going to install my flooring himself (which measures square feet and not square feet as he states in his rebuttal). On the day of the installation Sept2016, V*** does not show up at the agreed upon time of 9:a.m., instead,at 11:a.m- he drops off an elderly man and a very young man (late teens or early twenties) and he drives off in his truck and disappears not doing any of the work himself, nor supervising the men who were doing the job The two men who did the job are not licensed flooring contractors and did a rushed and poor job, as I have given Revdex.com the pictures of the completed workThey completed the job, along with a third young man (who was dropped off by his girlfriend later in the day) at 11:p.mat night, not even asking my permission for them to work so late( my neighbors were upset by the loud sawing noises and the chatter of the men.as these neighbors live in very close proximity to my home)V*** totally lied about me talking for half an hour on the phone as he never answered his phone, claiming that on separate occasions his phone was lost He communicated via texting or email and appeared at my house twice - once to measure the bedroom and another time to pay me for the lamp his worker broke, other than that he was never seen on the premisesHe also ripped me off on the cost of the master bedroom wacloset which should have been $at $a square foot, the closet measures only square feet when asked why he overcharged me by $80.00, he claimed it was a "convenience fee" which was never explained to at any time in the work agreementThe closet floor also was not done by V***, instead it was done by the elderly unlicensed man When you walk on the thresholds (the thresholds that V*** claims were made from lumber from a previous job- he is again not telling the truth as the lumber was from scraps of the current job) they bounce because they were not even glued in place and you can see the gap between the transitions - they do not hide the joins or transitions from the carpet to the wood flooring and the marble to the the wood flooringAlso when you walk on the flooring from the entry of the bedroom to the master bathroom you can feel the uneven ness of the wooden floor, it feels ripply and bouncyThere are many areas in the flooring,(especially the one adjacent to my bathroom threshold that is inches in length and is blonde - looking totally misplaced and quite hideous) where the wood is too short and mismatched via color and size and just looks like because the workers did not not pre-plan their work they just stuck the pieces in as fillers My request is for V*** to let me hire a licensed wood flooring contractor who will actually do the work himself, to correct the errors (which aren't that massive, but are there) and for V*** to cover the cost The resolution to this is for V*** to cover the cost of fixing the blatant mistakes I would like to hire a licensed flooring contractor who actually does the work himselfAlso as an update on V*** and Masterpiece Flooring - V***'s Flooring contractor's license expired on September 30, V*** left a huge wheeled yellow rubbish bin on my neighbor's property, he was asked numerous times via texting and email to remove itNo results to this

I William V*** installed about SqFtof
engineered wood flooring for ***After I completed installation of master
bedroom she asked if I could give her cost on installtion of her master closetDuring this
time she said that she did not like the color of boards so we replaced
it
right away Then I gave her cost to
install master closet and she agreed to costWe came back week later to
install closet and she liked all the work we did for herThe thresholds where custom
made with materials that she had from previous flooring contractor so she could
save moneyShe liked everything and asked me for an estimate to do her steps
I did not want to do any more work for her because when she calls me she keeps
me on the phone for 30-mins 2-time per day, her dog was aggressive and she
did not do anything about thatThe dog bite me once and when we came back the
next day to clean up the dog ripped up thrash bags and drug trash every whereHer
bedroom is around SqFtand she had week to look over her new wood
floor to find any thing that she dose not likeIts not fair for her to say all
those bad things about me when she liked everything and agreed to costit
should not take more then 1-hours to look over her new wood floor in bedroom
(SqFT.) Thnks you!!

Subject: Re: Revdex.com Complaint Case: [redacted]
Hi [redacted],
There was a mix up with [redacted]'s returned material and one of our other customer. [redacted] asked me...

for her refund on the wood flooring it was not flooring that was returned for her refund it was molding and underlayment. That's what the big mix up was, I went at far as refunding my other customer [redacted]s amount witch was larger then her actual amount. I will send [redacted] a check on 07/16/14.
Thank You!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The response does not address my concerns. My complaint was that I was deceived into thinking that William V[redacted] of Masterpiece Flooring was the licensed contractor who was going to install my flooring himself (which measures 350 square feet and not 200 square feet as he states in his rebuttal). On the day of the installation Sept. 12 2016, V[redacted] does not show up at the agreed upon time of 9:00 a.m., instead,at 11:30 a.m. - he drops off an elderly man and a very young man (late teens or early twenties) and he drives off in his truck and disappears not doing any of the work himself, nor supervising the men who were doing the job.  The two men who did the job are not licensed flooring contractors and did a rushed and poor job, as I have given Revdex.com the pictures of the completed work. They completed the job, along with a third young man (who was dropped off by his girlfriend later in the day) at 11:00 p.m. at night, not even asking my permission for them to work so late. ( my neighbors were upset by the loud sawing noises and the chatter of the men.as these neighbors live in very close proximity to my home). V[redacted] totally lied about me talking for half an hour on the phone as he never answered his phone, claiming that on 2 separate occasions his phone was lost.  He communicated via texting or email and appeared at my house twice  - once to measure the bedroom and another time to pay me for the lamp his worker broke, other than that he was never seen on the premises. He also ripped me off on the cost of the master bedroom walk-in closet which should have been $280. at $4 a square foot, the closet measures only 70 square feet when asked why he overcharged me by $80.00, he claimed it was a "convenience fee" which was never explained to at any time in the work agreement. The closet floor also was not done by V[redacted], instead it was done by the elderly unlicensed man.  When you walk on the thresholds (the thresholds that V[redacted] claims were made from lumber from a previous job- he is again not telling the truth as the lumber was from scraps of the current job) they bounce because they were not even glued in place and  you can see the gap between the transitions - they do not hide the joins or transitions from the carpet to the wood flooring and the marble to the the wood flooring. Also when you walk on the flooring from the entry of the bedroom to the master bathroom you can feel the uneven ness of the wooden floor, it feels ripply and bouncy. There are many areas in the flooring,(especially the one adjacent to my bathroom threshold that is 3 inches in length and is blonde - looking totally misplaced and quite hideous) where the wood is too short and mismatched via color and size and just looks like because the workers did not not pre-plan their work they just stuck the pieces in as fillers.  My request is for V[redacted] to let me hire a licensed wood flooring contractor who will actually do the work himself, to correct the errors (which aren't that massive, but are there) and for V[redacted] to cover the cost.
The resolution to this is for V[redacted] to cover the cost of fixing the blatant mistakes.  I would like to hire a licensed flooring contractor who actually does the work himself. Also as an update on V[redacted] and Masterpiece Flooring - V[redacted]'s Flooring contractor's license expired on September 30, 2016.  V[redacted] left a huge wheeled yellow rubbish bin on my neighbor's property, he was asked numerous times via texting and email to remove it. No results to this.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
