is satisfactory to me.  Just wanted you to know that my chair was returned shortly after your communication went out the Furniture Doctor in Marinette, WI. Please close the close out the complaint as it has been resolved.  Thank you so much for giving this owner the boost he needed to return my chair.I decided to do the job myself and it took me exactly 5 days to order/receive the cane and accessories I need to cane my chairs. I realized in June this owner was stalling.Thanks again.

Review: On 5/12/15 I contacted [redacted] at the Furniture Doctor business to replace cane on the backs of 6 dining room chairs, which are nearly 50 years old and are of quality oiled walnut. He took one of the chairs back to his business to measure and identify cane needed. He called me in late June to inform me he was having problems getting cane. I told him that I would be patient. Then the months passed by and while I called him weekly as to the status - no response. Now it is Oct and still have heard nothing. At this point I want my chair back.To Mr. [redacted] this is just another chair, another job but I have a personal attachment to this chair. This furniture represents sacrifices my now deceased husband and I endured as we saved for and bought piece by piece as all young couples starting out did. This man told me that he plans on retiring at the end of this year and I fear that this chair will disappear forever. Mr. [redacted] please do the right thing and return my chair and no questions will be asked.Thank You.Desired Settlement: I just want my chair back and Mr. [redacted] should just return it and I will find another business to do the work. I am truly disappointed in this business as I had high hopes the job would get done since he explained how he did such great work. That may be in some cases, but he let me down.
