Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: 1) I have only been set up on one date via the matchmaking service 2) I signed up for totalI have left, so services have not been completely rendered 3) Based on how poorly the first date went, and how generally incompetent their matchmaking services are, I do not feel it is in my best interests to work with this service any furtherI have also complained and at their mercy --they may set up more dates with random people just to meet the contract with no care to quality as they are aware of my complaint 4) I have only received 1/of the services I have signed up for I do not believe they they completely rendered services if they have only completed match out of I had purchased 5) despite having my account frozen with the matchdate love I continue to receive emails despite a request for no contact until I would be ready to unfreez e my account I do not intend to unfreeze and continued emails is very disruptive to my work and care of my mother 6)To not offer a refund in this kind of scenario just implies you don't stand behind the quality of the product but prefer to hide behind a piece of paper Sincerely, [redacted] ***

At Match Date Love we handle every complaint with extreme care, as we want all of our clients to be satisfied with our services. In regards to refunding Mr*** *** for his matchmaking memberships we
are unable to refund services rendered and services applicable to Mr*** *** membership agreement
Mr*** *** signed up for Matchmaking services on December 31, 2015, the membership Mr*** *** signed up for is a life time membership guaranteeing him a three to four guaranteed introductions or until he is in a successful relationship
Mr*** *** had his first match with *** in February as he requested due to his travel scheduleMr*** *** did not feel a connection with her for a long term committed relationshipAt Match Date Love we take that feedback seriously and after he shared with us his thoughts, we were in the process of looking for a new match for Mr*** *** that would match his datenight feedback
On February 28, Mr*** *** emailed Match Date Love that his Mother was not feeling well and he was going to need to tend to her and asking for a refund for our servicesAs a Matchmaking company we are able to render services and have already rendered him our matchmaking services therefore he is in contract to not receive a refund from our companyIn regards to our yelp reviews, we service over singles each year from single events, matchmaking and our unique coaching service
We do have a few bad reviews in the past 7+ years we have been in business and we also have a lot of testimonials on yelp from couples that are happily in love from our services. We are working on with those negative reviews however yelp is known for bad reviews not where people go to uplift businesses
In regards to Mr*** ***, our time and effort have already been invested in matchmaking Mr*** ***, our services have already been rendered and in our signed agreement we offer no refundsWe can continue to matchmaking Mr*** *** if he is willing to work with our company.

         We have reached out to Ms. [redacted] to try to make things better in efforts of our business practices however Ms. [redacted] has still not replied to our email on February 2, 2016 in regards to matchmaking her and reconnecting on her membership agreement with Match Date Love.
  Ms. [redacted] did not pay $595 for one match, she paid $595 for a lifetime membership of matchmaking her until she is a successful and happy relationship. Ms. [redacted] received her first match in November 2015 and unfortunately that match did not spark her interests but was a gentleman according to her feedback. Ms. [redacted] was offered upgraded options when she was interviewed that would give her monthly matchmaking with our singles database. Ms. [redacted] declined the upgrade and purchased our Community Matchmaking for $595 which allows her to be in our Matchmaking Database without an expiration date and she can be selected as many times as we have matches for her. This matchmaking process is a flexible membership and does not guarantee monthly matchmaking or 12 matches in one year.
Members in this package can be matched as many as 1-6 times in a year process depending on their preferences based on age, religion, ethnicity and children options.
 
We have helped a lot of single parents find loving partners and Match Date Love esteems ourselves in being role models to helping Moms and Dads still be open to love when raising a family as a single parent.
 
Our success over the past 8 years allows us to have a great standing in our community. We are trying to work out our relationship with Ms. [redacted] and she is refusing our services and instead just wants a refund.
 
We understand that Ms. [redacted] has lost faith in us and we would like to restore that but if she does not want to talk on the phone or connect with our company, then we will not force a match for her.
 
Until we speak to Ms. [redacted] and get our relationship aligned and in agreement of working together we will not bet setting her one a match because we have to have integrity with the men and women of our company and be sure Ms. [redacted] is not out to slander our business when we are trying our best to support Ms. [redacted] with her love life and she is choosing to use the Revdex.com to get a refund when our company has rendered services to Ms. [redacted] and can continue to provide matchmaking services to Ms. [redacted].

it is inaccurate. I have sent a detailed response to the case manager for his complaint.
I have replied to them, so her claim that I have not is false. I will forward in a separate  email all of my correspondence with them.During my initial meeting and sign up with the company, which took place with Chris S[redacted], I was encouraged to attend the events which she says is of no affiliation with the service I signed up for. I was also offered to pay a flat  monthly fee to attend these events. I never intimated that they were a part of the service, I was merely pointing out their business practices.Mrs S[redacted] ONLY responded to me after receiving the Revdex.com complaint. I left a review on their facebook page. Shortly after leaving it, someone left a review whose experience was similar, almost identical to mine. I reached out to this woman to see if we could work together to get our money back, as this was further evidence of a pattern of Match Date Love.  In Mrs S[redacted] reply to me, she mentioned this woman and her interactions with her, which is highly unprofessional and I believe, meant to persuade me.She says that because she has already invested time in me, she cant refund the money I paid. One date for $595 hardly justifies an investment of time on her part.  So, it seems she is saying a person can pay them for their services, be given a match of any caliber, and Match Date Love has fulfilled their end of the deal. Really? The hard working, single moms and dads of Seattle deserve better than that. $595 is not a small sum of money. People come to Match Date Love and trust them with their hopes and goals and this is what they do with them? Not okay.At this point, she has irrevocably broken the trust and faith I had in this company so she is incorrect when she says she can still render services. After A- matching me with someone not of the caliber they advertised. B- not returning my emails. C- not matching me again D- only responding to me after reading my complaint E- Inaccurately reporting that I haven't responded to her.As a consumer, I think I'm within reason to seek some support.-- [redacted]

We have reached out to Ms. [redacted] via phone and email this month apologizing for not replying to her email earlier in the month. She has not replied back to Match Date Love.
Ms. [redacted] signed up for Matchmaking services on October 25th, 2015, the membership Ms. [redacted] signed up for is a life time membership guaranteeing her a match and potential matches until she is in a successful relationship. The membership does not say anything in regards to our singles events we host as that is a completely different department within our company that is offered to the public.
The singles events we host are open to the public and are community events for singles to make new friendships and the opportunity for meet someone that could turn into a healthy and happy relationship. Match Date Love events are posted all over the internet in hopes of connecting as many singles as possible. Ms. [redacted] saying our events are unsafe and there is no pre screening we do prior to events has nothing to do with her $595 Matchmaking membership. Matchmaking and singles events are two different departments within our company.
We did not neglect to say anything about our events during Ms. [redacted] during signing her up time because we were not selling her our events, we were selling her a Matchmaking package to start introducing her to prescreened men that match her lifestyle, long term goals, attraction and compatibility one on one.
As a Matchmaking company we are able to render services and have already rendered her our matchmaking services therefore she is in contract to not receive a refund from our company.
Our time and effort have already been invested in matchmaking Ms. [redacted], our services have already been rendered and in our signed agreement we offer no refunds. We can continue to matchmaking Ms. [redacted] if she is willing to work with us and return our phone call and emails.
