In [redacted]'s situation, however, [redacted] has refused to follow-up on the calls we have made to them for which we have not received return calls.  Our first contact with [redacted] on March 14, which is the day the patient first made us aware of the situation. We then spoke with [redacted] on both 3/31 and 4/4, and still no proof payment had been made. Now they say it was an EFT [electronic funds transfer) but the payment cannot be located as a deposit into our bank at any time in either January or February. In addition, we have spoken with the patient numerous times and have asked her to provide us with a tracer for the payment. We spoke with the patient again today and explained the situation again, and she said she understood.
We don't know what more we can do except wait for [redacted] to provide us with the proof to refund the patient if we were indeed reimbursed by [redacted].

Review: I had to pay a bill up front to avoid a billing charge. I paid this bill at the time of service which was 1/09/2014. They should not have even billed me because I had an HRA account through [redacted]. I called [redacted] and they issued a payment as well out of the HRA account and the doctor should reimburse me for the $314.16 that I paid. I called the doctor several times over the next few weeks to see if they had received the payment. They said they never had. I then called the insurance and they verified that they had sent a EFT payment in the amount of $314.16 on 2/18 and it showed that is had processed on 2/19. The eft transaction number is [redacted] called the doctors office to explain they said they would look into it and call me. I never recieved a call so I called back. They told me they need a copy of the check. I explained to them there is no copy of the check because it is an EFT payment and told them they need to call their bank and research the EFT number. They became angry with me and told me they did not have time to research that and they have already been paid so they were not concerned with researching the payment. Alss every time I call [redacted] they have to request new documentation to show proof of payment and have never actually sent anything to the doctor to verify payment except for give them the EFT transaction number.I am at a stand still with both the insurance company and the doctors office. I show the $314.16 being deducted from my HRA. I have paid $314.16 out of pocket and $314.16 out of my HRA. I would like to have the doctor call the bank and track down the EFT payment but they refuse to do this. [redacted] has also not been very helpful in providing additional information to the doctor.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the doctor call the bank and track down the EFT payment but they refuse to do this. [redacted] has also not been very helpful in providing additional information to the doctor. I would like to have a refund from the doctor in the amount of $314.16.
