I installed new 15 pound roofing felt, new aluminum drip edge with the exception of one eight foot section. New architectural shingles with a manufacturer's warranty of 25 years were installed with the recommended starter strip used and applied using the recommended reveal and nail spacing and placement. Recently the homeowner contacted me stating that he had a problem where rainwater was getting into his soffit. I went to the home and found a problem with the seal of the starter shingles and an issue with the existing gutter. I repaired the issue in the location the homeowner indicated at no cost to the homeowner and agreed to return to make necessary repairs to the remainder perimeter of the roof.
