Customer paid for two put-in/take-out fees on 9/11/that includes a return trip back to the campground and customer was advised of the necessity to reach their destination (take-out) prior to 5PM in order that customers could be picked up prior to our closing time of 6PM Customer called on 9/15/requesting a full refund and employee responded that she would have to look into the matter and would have to get back in touch with her We then called her back on 9/16/to try to get her credit number and resolve the issues and customer only wanted to talk about the employee We put a check in the mail on 9/16/even though customer was three hours late in returning due to personal equipment issue(s) We refrain from commenting regarding customer's reference or rudeness as it becomes a "she said/he said" matter, but certainly regret any inconvenience or rudeness as was perceived Customer requested a refund which we provided in full prior to this filling, even though customer did receive some of the services (pfees)
On the day this customer arrived, she was issued camping armbands and not tubing shuttle bands. She did not go to the tube house for instructions on our take out locations or get the needed time of return. They exited the river after 10pm and we usually stop shuttle before 8pm. Our
driver went at this late hour and picked up the tubers, but noticed they had not paid for their take out fee. He explained the fee they needed to pay, but they just got mad and were consuming adult beverages. They could have stopped at any business and explained the situation earlier but continued to float. There is no refund by our company when we have to arrive so late to get a tuber. Before getting on the river, all tubers need to be responsible, and get the info needed for a safe trip

I am rejecting this response because:I was not instructed to go to the tube house for further instructions, I was given the wrong armband by employee not my fault but theirsI take offence at the fact that they are blaming alcoholic beverages as part of their response at all as we did not and do not partake in the drinking of any alcoholic beverages that day or any otherThey immediately assumed so and proceeded to treat is accordinglyThat say we followed all instructions by staff and then were punished for doing soThey specifically told us to not exit anywhere else because it we as all private property
