Review: My son and I recently purchased a car from Matrice Motors located in [redacted] Maryland. We purchased the automobile in the evening. While riding the car home we noticed that the car made a rattling noise under the car and when we got home we noticed that the car had a dent on the side of the car. We immediately contacted Matrice Motors but nobody was at the shop. The next day, we called Matrice Motors and were told to come in. When we got there we saw the guy that sold the car to us and he got his manager. The salesman tried to convince us that there was not a dent but an indentation in the automobile. The manager looked at it and said oh I see, that a dent but you can hardly tell it. I also told him that the car made a noise. He was very nice he told us that he would contact after he contacted the repair shop. I waited a week and called and was unable to reach the manager. I waited two more weeks and called again. By this time, it was time for the paper tag to expire. I called and spoke to a young lady and explained my frustration about having not received a call regarding the repair and the tags. She explained to me that unfortunately this happens to a lot of people at Matrice and nobody follows through. She promised me that I would definitely hear from her later that day but no call not even from her. I did receive a call from the Manager who asked if I could bring the car in on a Friday but we explained that Friday was a bad day for us considering my son works the weekend and we were told that we would have to leave the car for several days, so we would have to rent a car. It has now been about 3 months, and the car feels awful to drive and the dent looks horrible. We feel ripped off but they were quick to get our money. I am definitely dissatisfied with Matrice Motors and how they do business as well as the piece of car that was sold to us. There is definitely no customer service and all they want is to lure you in and take your money and not have anything to do with uDesired Settlement: I would like to have the car totally repaired, have a refund of all of the money that we paid for the car or have a replacement car.

Response:

On 25 February, the customer came with her son to purchase a vehicle from Matrice Motors. After the test drive, WALK-AROUND and INSPECTION of the vehicle they decided to buy it. Since they were financing and did not have all the required documents, they came back next day 26 Feb 2014, to finalize the purchase. The next day after delivery, she (the mother) called dealerhsip and stated that the vehicle had a dent on one of the doors. Even though the vehicle passed four different inspections [Post sale inspection (PSI) at the auction, MD Stated Inspection (done by a licensed service center, dealership’s inspection, and the customer own inspection walk-around], with no evidence of dent, we still gave the customer the benefit of the doubt and promised her to fix it. She came with her soon the next day, as they mentioned that they came just to show the dent and could not leave the vehicle that day. I, as the manager, personally took a look at it and told her that I saw a small dent that could have happened when they took the car home and parking it into their garage or in the parking lot. However, we would fix it at no cost to them, but we would have to call the body shop to make an appointment for them. When we called her to notify her that Friday was the appointment that we were able get, she stated that her son had to go to school on Friday (she even confirmed that on her Revdex.com’s complaint). Therefore, I asked her to give us a day when she could bring the vehicle so we could fix it, at no cost for them. She stated that she would get back to us with a day that was convenient for her. But I made her understand that she would need to drop the vehicle off and give us time to repair it, which was not convenient for her. I also told her that we could make an appointment for the vehicle, but the repair time would depend on the severity of the dent and the body shop would have to determine timing. The reality is they could not find the necessary time to bring the vehicle and drop it off for repair. In her own complaint, she herself admitted that we agreed to repair it for her, but she never brought it to us so we could take care of it. As of today, the dealership never refused to repair the dent. If they bring the vehicle today, the dealership will take it the body shop and repair the dent, but we cannot determine how long it will take. Additionally, when you buy a used car, after doing your own inspection, walk thru, taking delivery of the car, leave the lot with it, you cannot come back and complaint about a dent, because you can park by the next Store, 2 miles down the street and hit the door against someone else vehicle. With all those

Review: I purchased a 2003 [redacted] on August 13, 2014 at Matrice Motors in [redacted], Maryland. The salesman was advised that the air conditioning was not working and the door sensor needed to be fixed. An appointment was setup to have these issues corrected. However, each time I arrived at the dealership for the repairs to be done there would not be a mechanic there. Therefore, I would have to scheduled another appointment. I have made approximately 8 appointments. I would have to reschedule my schedule to make each appointment. The mechanic appeared late during one of my appointments. He apparently fixed the air conditioning, but it went out a few hours after being repaired. I made another appointment to get the vehicle fixed. The next week the same mechanic attempted to repair the air conditioning again. Two hours after repair, the air conditioning went out again. I called and setup another appointment rearranging my schedule again. THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE TIME I AM RIDING AROUND IN A HOT TRUCK in the midst of the Summer. My daughter had the beginning of an asthma attack due to the heat in the vehicle. There was no ventilation even though the window was opened. I have called again to setup another appointment. The appointment was set for 12,September 2014 after 3:00 pm. I arrived to my appointment to the surprise of the business being closed and having the chain on the gate. I have left numerous voice mail and emails to address this issue. I even suggested Matrice Motors to give me the money and I would locate a mechanic on my own. I have also suggested switching to another vehicle that did not have any issues that needed to be repaired. My final suggestion is that due to my inconvenience in driving around in an extremely hot vehicle; Matrice Motors needs to compensate me by paying my first car payment in addition to making the repairs.Desired Settlement: Compensation for my inconvenience and replacement of vehicle.
