My husband [redacted] and I had put down a deposit some time ago to have a basement renovation doneWe advised them at the time that we did the deposit that we would not be able to actually do the job for a year or two but we wanted to lock in the special financing rate in case we did move forward with the renovationThey said this would be fine and that if we changed our minds, we would receive our deposit backAs it turns out, we encountered a financial challenge and will be unable to move forward with the renovationI have left messages four times for various people to advise them of this and request our deposit back and not one person has called us back from their company

Matrix hasn't completed our basement project which started May 9, We have not had a walk through with the construction manager as promisedHe told us to put sticky notes on areas that we wanted addressed and then we would have a walk throughWe placed the notes but didn't get a walk throughWorkers were finally sent to do the workEverything didn't get done; such as the ceiling repaint (its already peeling), trimming not finished and no covers for the new vent openingsWe were told this project would take weeks and its nearly weeks with no resolutionThe construction manager said he would stop by to take a look but has notI have reached out to others at Matrix but no replyThroughout this project, we have been the one to contact the construction manager to find out when things would be doneThere were often times when no work would be done for days or a week at a time and we had to follow upAlso, twice we applied for the free 50" led tv that's still being advert

What I expected wasa 4/wk project but dragged on from Mid Feb thru JuneOne crew was asked to be replacedAbout weeks worth of drywall finishing had to be redone, but Matrix did step up, bring in a great couple of knowledgeable guys to ultimately resolve open issuesThe Process was frustrating and my final cost for basically walls and ceiling was far too high

We have uncompleted/poor work that needs to be addressedThe company specifically the owner will not call us back and they have been paid in full

I have reviewed the documentation on our end to see if the agreement between Matrix and the *** family indicates contingencies or language that speaks towards post-rescission cancellation or an "out clause" and I cannot find itFrom what I can see, we have a binding agreement to finish their
basement that was written and signed by all parties back in We are happy to discuss options with the ***'s, however cannot understand how this is with the Revdex.com and how it is a "complaint"Again, they signed a contract and placed a deposit back in and nothing has happened up until recent when they called asking for a refund of their depositAs we have most likely explained verbally and in writing to the ***s, by federal and state law, all homeowners/customers have business days to cancel agreements that are written in their home without penalty or obligationTo cancel an agreement years later and then demand a full refund seems a bit oddWe will reach out today to discuss with the ***'sThank you!

Matrix did a great job from the first time I filled out the inquiry form on line They did just what they said they would The product is a superior quality It's the best room in our house

Matrix basement solutions did a great job of giving us piece of mind from beginning until the end of constructionThey were very accurate with the timing of their work, and everything worked out greatI would recommend doing business with them to anyone interested in finishing their basementThe final product looked amazing

Began my basement remodel project with Matrix on 12/27/ Upon Matrix completing the final design, ordering materials and obtaining a building permit, actual construction began in April Given an estimated completion timeframe of six weeks, the project has, to date, exceeded six months in duration Causes given by Matrix for delay range from unavailability of work crews, back-ordered/reordered materials (i.ewindows, door/frame, access panel door and hand-rail/ballusters for stairway) and, most recently, Project Manager and Designer of Record personnel changes Albeit a longer process than anticipated, Matrix's quality of work has been acceptable The project is essentially more than 90% complete, with only a few outstanding punch list items to meet contract scope of work and building code requirementsFollowing Village of Libertyville inspection on 11/2/18, each of the Prime's subcontractors readily completed their respective punch list work itemsThe balance of outstand

I had a wonderful experience with this companyThey set out and did everything according to how we wrote it upThe employees and contractors were very trustworthy and did excellent work!! Kudos to Jesus and Adrian they did a fantastic jobWe love our basement!! Thanks to Rick *** also for being there for any questions we had and making sure the job got done on schedule!! Highly recommend this company to finish your basement!

Matrix did an awesome job with our basement project The contractors were great with communicating and keeping us in the loop The final product is exactly what we wanted! Matrix did a great job to ensure we were happy with the final product and went out of way to ensure the project was done correctly

This company does not stand behind their product or installation I bought it through a "factory authorized" distributor and had it installed by their "factory trained" installersWhen problems arouse they claimed it was the installers fault and when I had water damage in their "water proof" walls they claimed it wasn't covered in the warrantyIf you read the warranty they can get out of any problem by blaming it on something that is not coveredFor what it cost me I really expected them to actually take responsibility and fix the issuesI would never do business with this company again and I would highly recommend anyone looking to get their basement finished look some where else

Matrix Basement Systems doesn't want to repair the cracks on the drywall (MGO skins) which they have installed on my basement They said that the warranty for the labor, which is yr, had already expired They installed drywalls (MGO skins) on and on several occasions cracks appeared on different areas on the drywall When me and my wife signed the agreement in 2015, MrTimothy ***, Matrix representative told us that the warranty was non-prorated warranty e..gmold development - yrs; Laminations and finishes - yrs; Ceiling Tiles - yrs; & Labor warranty - yr(seams, trim,plumbing & electrical) So, I am confident & positive that their materials (MGO skins) which they used are not of good quality as it keeps on cracking and the supplies/materials that they applied are of poor quality I am seeking that they should repair/fix the cracks on the walls without asking me to sign a waiver that in case something happens again in the future they will

We had Matrix install an expensive basement system This had a yr warranty Recently we noted several walls were bubbling We contacted Matrix March, and a supervisor came to inspect He agreed that there was no foundation leak and had no explanation for the problem He said when they had manpower available they would repair it A crew came in mid-July and felt that the problem was humidity They did some work, but then their management said that humidity was our problem and they would charge us for any further work We have given up on them We feel that they did not honor their warranty We also question if their product is capable if it cannot stand humidity from a typical Chicago mid-July season
