We would appreciate it greatly if you would have *** *** show you proof that we charged him because according to my records, no charges have ever been made to his credit card

Review: I responded to flyer for a round trip quote for a car service for 2 from Tarrytown to Laguardia. Thereafter, I called back to confirm the round trip quote. Both times [redacted] responded and quoted $94.55 total for a round trip purchase over the phone. Ultimately, after I booked and gave credit card information, I later received an email confirmation for double. I later spoke with management that refused to honor the quote that [redacted] gave during two separate phone calls. I believe this is a bait and switch scheme or at the very least a poor business practice.Desired Settlement: I should be reimbursed for the difference that I paid to a competitor for the same service. Specifically I am paying $89.17 each way for the same service.

[redacted] did call and get pricing for a round trip reservation with us, but cancelled after he realized that there was a discrepancy with round trip pricing. [redacted] has been an employee here for years.

More importantly, no actual charges have or were ever placed on his credit card. He is looking for a reimbursement for the difference he had to pay to a competitor. This is unheard of. Although we feel sympathetic that [redacted] misunderstood, we do not owe him anything. We record credit card information at the time of a reservation, but we do not charge customers until after we pick the customers up. Please have [redacted] show you where on his credit card statements, or bank records that we charged him. If he is able to prove that we charged him, of course there will be a refund issued.
