*** ***There are basically two complaints by the customer:1) I didn't send the package with more then $insurance.2) I didn't send the package signature required.3) I didn't file a claim.My response is this:The over arching fact is that my responsibility ends when the package is delivered by the carrier, as this one was, by the customers own statement.However, I will answer the three items in the complaint.1) No carrier will pay insurance on a delivered package, only damaged or undelivered packagesSo no amount of insurance would have made any difference, they don't cover packages stolen from a mail box or front door after delivery.2) It is not standard procedure for any shipper to send packages signature required*** doesn't do that, and no other online retailers that I am aware of do eitherIf the customer have a security problem, they can request signature required, but even then some retailers will still not send the package signature required after being requested, I know this from experienceMost people don't like signature required because if they work, then they have to go to the post office to get their packageIn fact, I get more "please don't send signature required” than I ever get "please require a signature”.3) I contacted the post office, and they said there is no procedure for filing a claim on a package that has been delivered(understandably) They suggested the customer file a police report.From personal experience with packages being stolen after delivery, with both USPS and UPS at my home and business, the person receiving the package is unfortunately in a loss positionNo retailer, no shipper, is going to pay out on delivered packages, which makes perfect sense, if they did that, people would just claim that their package was stolen and get another free shipmentNow on the other hand, had the package not been delivered, or lost in transit, then I would be responsible to refund or reship, because it is my responsibility to get the package delivered to the customer, but as I have stated, once it has been delivered my part ends.I was intending to help this customer out by giving him a huge discount on a replacement order, but once he started insisting it was my fault, and threatened to sue me, that offer was withdrawnWhat the customer is not aware of is that I was the only entity that would have helped him in this unfortunate event, and it was very unwise to have the attitude he took, because I was under no obligation to assist him, it would have been out of the kindness that I naturally posses to have assisted

ive attached a copy of the only receipt this company has provided me withI don't have any pother information from the retailerWOuld you guys like my bank statement as well? The receipt also contains the usps tracking number issued for my order through this company

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The usps office of [redacted] has told me that the package was infact misdelivered to [redacted]. The reference for that is usps case# and that is  
Case# [redacted]. At no time did I insult the sender. I simply asked that it had been a very long time since my package was supposed to have arrive so if he could resend the package if signature required it would solve the issue. The sender however is refusing to take any responsibility in the matter. Not once has he ever even remotely offered to send a new package at a discounted price. He has completely ceased to respond to my email and continues to ignore me. You
