Very upset with this report been around this trade years never to have this happenWe had a contract for labor only for tile and durock on this projects all demo by others no caulkingWe showed up first day masterbath floor was not demo out we did it our self not one dime.We durocked everything I bought waterproofing for shower not one dime.Next day learned home owner had support for glass door in wrong place had to take down durock but in wood stud re durock and water prof not one dime or thank youWe also did the same for masterbath tub to add support not one dime.as you will see by pictures tile was 1\not 1\really? also shower floor looked awesome how could you cut youre toes see pic cut tight and flush with drain6xalmost tight joint on a degree angle? see pic tough niches and look at shower install pics and tub pics nice job Yes grout will crack around tub it has movement in it needed to be caulked not in our contract.plus also told them there would be efference in grout it was near in bathroom just needed cleaningtold them would send consulant out to look at there grout no responce back have all emailsdid get a text weeks later at 3pm on Saturday to try to get someone monday morning? Note to all trades take pics keep all emails make sure customer likes job before getting check they were happy had them check it before getting paid .plus they saw the work nightly and daily? extra work and time cost me on this project not one dime plus we romoved toilet?

Review: Contractor hired to tile and grout master bathroom floor, shower, and tub surround. I supplied all materials. Contractor showed up on time, started work promptly, and made adjustments when asked. Paid in full upon completion of project. Upon further inspection, we realized there were issues with the installation. 1) tiles weren't level, many were popping in and out of plane. there are some in the shower floor that are sharp and will catch and cut toes, the mosaic is wavy, either put up with fingers pressing it down, or the weight of the tiles above compressed 2) tile spacing was supposed to be 1/8", they were mostly 1/4" but very uneven. 3) Sanded grout was to be used on the floor, unsanded on the wall - it was mixed (and when I say mixed, I mean, most of the floor was unsanded, but some lines had sanded - then on the wall, it looked like mostly sanded, but some areas looked like he mixed sanded/unsanded together - some lines literally stopped midway mixing sanded/unsanded. 4) many areas were missed during the grouting, leaving "holes" 5) caulk wasn't used anywhere in the bathroom, although we purchased it and had it available, the grout was already cracking in many areas around the window sills and tub surround. Unsanded grout is not supposed to be used in lines bigger than 1/8", so he either needed to follow our instructions for 1/8" lines, or use ONLY sanded grout. Contractor was notified of the issues and was mostly unresponsive. He said he would send someone to look at it, but would not commit to a date or time. We needed to complete shower glass installation so paid $350 to have the unsanded grout replaced and caulk installed. The rest of the issues will be corrected by me.Desired Settlement: Would like for company to pay for the rework/repairs that we needed to obtain. $350 for Grout Geeks to repair grout.
