We have spoke with the customer reguarding the frig issues we have made some adjustments and are waiting for them to try the unit once againWe have also contacted the customer to let them know that their parts are in from Lance reguarding the back splash around the stove

Complaint: ***I received and read the response from Mattas Marine & RV
addressing a portion of our complaint. We
had supplied Mattas with the name of a vinyl installer that was performing
vinyl work for a competitive RV company in the area per the request of Mattas
service department who stated “ we are fiberglass guys not vinyl guys”. When the vinyl installer did not show up
after being contacted by Mattas we were told that an additional attempt to
contact a couple of other vinyl installers was made but the attempts proved unsuccessful
The refrigerator issue was not disclosed prior to the
purchase of the camper nor was it pointed out during the customer orientation
stage prior to us taking possession of the camper. Had this issue been disclosed prior to
purchase we would not have purchased the camper. I believe it is possible Mattas knew about
the refrigerator issue. However, since we
already have the camper in our possession, I am offering them Mattas an opportunity
to correct the issue or they can simply refund the money we have invested. If
this is something Mattas does not know how to correct then perhaps they should contact
*** who manufactured the refrigerator for a solution or *** RV who has
suggestions on how to possibly fix this issue or get professional involved who
does.
Unaddressed issues still remain, my wife and I strongly feel
Mattas has an obligation of full disclosure of impending issues prior to
purchase and to make sure the product is delivered as advertised and sold. To a small extent Mattas has worked with us
to correct some of the issues, as such my wife and I are willing to allow Mattas
up to six months from the original date of purchase to correct the remaining
defects, if this is not possible, a lawsuit will be filed in February and we intend
to move through the court system seeking complete reimbursement

Complaint: [redacted]Removal of the exterior weather shield where weather and
dirt can enter the camper is not an acceptable fix; on line research suggests possibly
replacing the gas line or pressure regulator or other items.  [redacted] RV in Grand Junction indicated that
they too have run into this issue on a select few of the RVs they have sold and
according to [redacted] they have been able to correct the problem.   [redacted] also commented that your service
department is welcome to contact them for help in troubleshooting this issue.  In any case this is an issue that should have
been disclosed prior to our purchase and one that needs to be 100% resolved.
Other pending issues include a leaky waste water tank valve:  Your service department was unable to locate
any leak from leaky waste water tank valve while the camper was sitting stationary
in your shop, therefore time permitting we intend to fill the waste tank ¾ full
and take the camper out this weekend on some semi-rough roads to see if the
issue was either an improperly closed valve of if the valve actually slides open
enough to leak during travel and will notify you of our findings.
A loose fabric issue on one if the slide out drawers that
was removed and reinstalled in the slider seating area during vinyl repair
And an oven splash guard that appears to be bubbling and separating
from the wall by the stove.    To be fair
your service department may not have looked at this issue, as we did not bring
it up.  However, if this was my shop I
believe I would have made sure my technicians went through the camper completely
looking for any additional quality control and performance issues that may
affect the sale and corrected them rather than continue to make things worse.

At high elevations air is thinner and it is common that many things from frigerators to engines do not perform as well as at lower elevations. We have contacted Lance and [redacted] in regards to this issue. They ([redacted]) advised us to adjust the flame, open the flame window and in extreme conditions remove the outside panel when camping at higher elevations. [redacted] explained that they have tested these things at elevations above 7,000 ft. In the Reno area and have had positive results. We have made the flame adjustments to the frigerator and have explained the other adjustments to Mr. [redacted]. We would like to see Mr [redacted] test and try his camper to see if there is a improvement. We believe that all other issues have been addressed and resolved if not please let us know

We were contacted by Mr. [redacted] about the leaks, bubbled  floor, refrigerator  and furnace issues after their first trip. We told him to bring the unit is so we could address his issues. We repaired the plumbing issue adjusted the furnace. We found that the the flooring was installed...

improperly from the factory and could not be properly repaired and the floor needed to be replaced. We contacted lance regarding the fix for this they agreed to send materials to replace the floor vinyl.  Upon Mr [redacted]s request (he did not feel that our shop was qualified to replace the vinyl to his likings and wanted a professional installer) due to the size of the job we had difficulty finding a installer that wanted to do the job. With mr [redacted] being in the Constuction industry he knew a installer that could do the job and helped us arrange the install. While his camper was in the shop for the floor install we tested the sewer valve for 5 days and found no failure or leakage. The refrigerator does have a disclosure that it may not work at a 100% above 5,000 ft. We contacted Lance and the refrigerator manufacturer they indicated they was some minor adjustments that could be made to help and ways to use the unit when at high elevation. We made the adjustments and informed Mr. [redacted] of the conditions. Through the repairs of Mr [redacted]s camper we have kept him abreast of the issues and findings that we have made through this experience he has been unexceptable of the fixes for the refrigarator and  had refused to accept his camper. We feel we did everything in our ability to repair his camper in a timely manner. The extra time it took to have professional installer put in a 4x4 piece of vinyl slowed the job down considerably, and the manufactures answer to the refrigerator has been out of our control.
