Review: I filed for divorce against my soon to be ex husband 2 years ago, using Matthew J. Zeigler as my attorney. I paid a retainer as well as filing fees for my divorce to be processed through the courts. I had to wait the 2 year waiting period since my ex husband would not sign the divorce papers. A few months ago, I started trying to contact Zeigler yet again to see if I had to pay anything for the final filing fee since the 2 years were about up. I left dozens of messages for him to contact me as well as stopping by where he had his 'business' only to find that he was no longer located there. About a month or so ago I was finally having my call answered by a secretary only to have her take message upon message for weeks at a time. The last I talked to the secretary was not even 2 weeks ago and she could tell I was frustrated and said his work load has been heavy but she will try to have him contact me. I finally grew weary and contacted the board only to find out that he dropped his practice 'a while ago.' I gave him a lot of money and I never had my divorce finalized. I was told he also owns [redacted] in [redacted] but I am getting no information on finding him.Desired Settlement: If he did leave the practice and cannot file my final paper work to have my divorce finalized, then I would like to have my money for the retainer+ reimbursed as well as have him sign off on my case so I can have another lawyer file my paperwork so I can have my divorce finalized once and for all.

I received my final papers to sign and I have mailed them back but nothing has been resolved completely as of yet. I am hoping to hear something within the next week or so. I sent back the signed papers at the end of September but my divorce is still not finalized as far as I know
