Review: September, 2013, [redacted] performed work installing filters and regulators on a well site producing gas for home use. I failed to ask for an estimate but assumed it would cost $1200 - $1300 dollars to install two new filters, four feet of 0ne inch line, sleeves, two elbows, two hammer unions, two ball valves,nipples, and a 1" - 2" swedge. he completed the work and stated he would send me a bill. In November 2013 I called him asking why I hadn't received a bill. he stated that he had been busy and would send me one. I did not receive a bill until 8/27/2014 for $2,570. I attempted to contact him by phone several times only to hear that the phone number on his statement had been disconnected. through written correspondence he has provided receipts of material purchased supposedly for my job. The filters were an unbelievable $277 each, the statement documents 26 nipples but I can only account for 10, and charged labor for tw men @ 8 hours which only took around 4 hrs.Desired Settlement: Actual cost of material and labor in a timely fashion.
